I hope either Hawks or Bucks win the chip this season. But I'm leaning more towards the Hawks. I like Trae's guts.

Not a full Trae fan yet. He has yet to prove himself in defense. I feel like once coaches figure out what a liability he is and attack him, that’s when I’ll be in or out on him.

I mean, coaches know he's a liability lol. There's just only so much hunting PJ Tucker can do when people don't respect a p/r with him as the roll man.

Thats the Magic of his run. Teams will usually figure it out, the following season. But this is his 1st postseason. And he is completely catching teams off guard. Never seen anything like this. The Bucks didn't actually play the Hawks with Trae in the lineup. Now he's 2 games away from the finals. This is cuttin it close.
I think the Bucks will win, but it ain't a guarantee. Next year, teams will figure him out and devise schemes.
But right now? This is an anomaly that had better get figured out, cause all he needs is 2 more games, and he will have made it all the way to the finals as a 5th seed. Knocking off the Knicks, sixers and Bucks. And I would give Trae a good shot to win over phoenix

It’s funny to me watching the Suns and the Bucks getting parades and hero’s welcomes on their return home from winning conference their championships, like they’ve won the big chip .

actually they haven't. it is a chess match in math.

say Young averages 25 a game and his defender/attacker scores 10 a game. that is a plus 15 points in favor of Young.
but if Young gets constantly attacked, by nature his offense will go down by approximately 5 points (due to fatigue) and his attacker's scoring will go up by approximately 5 points. so now Young's advantage is only plus 5 points. that's how you beat Young.

**** em.

Season's already longer than usual by a month, now there's 3 days between games.
Get it done with it already, it's embarrasing. Playing every other day should be perfectly fine.

If Dame wants out, I wonder what CJ's value is.

I think Dame's request drives down CJ's value in trades.
CJ is the only valuable trade asset that POR has(other than Dame), and with Dame going public with his displeasure with the POR front office about failing to build a contender, teams know that they are desperate to make moves to appease Dame.

Besides, although CJ can score, he has never been an all-star but gets paid like one. He has 3 years and $100 million left on his deal.
If I'm POR, I wouldn't trade CJ.

I'd trade Dame.

There is no way they can build a contender around Dame to his liking. This is where his trade value is the highest. I'd ask for an all-star and a bunch of 1sts in return. It is only a matter of time before Dame starts making life super miserable for POR. right now is when they can potentially get a haul for him like OKC did for PG and NOR did for AD.
