A trade with GS could work if someone else was interested in those assets. Sacto or OKC maybe!

Holy crap if the kings are dumb enough to give us Fox for Simmons it would be incredible. They can have Thybulle and this years FRP too.

I have always been lukewarm on KD. Always thought that move to GS was weak as hell. But I have never seen a player elevate his game to such a level as KD did against the Bucks. With a healthy Kyrie Irving or Harden. The Nets would be playing tonight. And health is a consideration for every team. But a healthy Nets team is a problem.

Here’s something I realized after exploring some trades.

Star Talent at the SF position is quite thin.

Just from playing 2k and doing a bunch of expansion drafts...it feels like the PF spot is the weaker one. And thats with guys like Tatum being listed at PF (because 2k is trash lol).

But in general the wings are thinner than I think people realize as its a lot of dudes who are still getting by on "could be good".

Yeah I think you’re right.

Total depth, PF is thinner.
19 atleast 1 RPM at SF
12 atleast 1 RPM at PF

Top end depth (superstar to star), More talent at SF.

Star SF
LeBron
KD
Kawhi
Middleton
Tatum
Ingram

Star PF
Giannis
Zion
Anthony Davis
Siakam
Sabonis
Randle

We’re so lucky to have Ben and Tobias

If we trade Simmons for Fox, you all will know who Morey consults through text message. The secret will be out.

It's a fair trade. King fans will tell you different but it's a fair deal. I'd love Haliburton too if we went that route instead, but Fox makes the most sense.

Liam Simmons = Ben's "shooting" (and I use that term extremely loosely) coach.

So basically, Ben's brother and shooting coach is going around liking tweets that pass the blame off Simmons and onto Embiid and Doc.

This piece of garbage PG and his entire family got to go. He is NEVER going to fix anything when all he does is retreat to his happy place and safe zone aka his family and the family continues to coddle and baby him.

If Ben were even remotely serious about working on his skills he should have immediately announced his brother was fired and he was working with a real NBA shot doctor.

Imagine how you would feel being his teammate. The moment that guy steps onto the court next year and it becomes apparent his game hasn't improved significantly, the entire franchise deflates. You simply can't take that chance if you're the Sixers brass.

Phew, at least it's finally happening. Simmons is burning bridges and getting shipped out. It just didn't work out, unfortunately. Should have drafted Brandon Ingram.

And now he's deflating his trade value by making his commitment to offseason improvement questionable.

Now there's a push to trade him sooner rather than later. If the offseason goes by and he's done little if anything of value to improve his game, his trade value will be lower than it is now.

No dumb source, but I have a feeling Fox is going to be the end result. He isn't the best shooter, but he's a decent fit IMO. I just dont think guys like Lavine/Beal/Lillard are available, and Fox had a terrific season last year.

They were talking about Brown for Simmons type swap today on WIP, thoughts?

When do you guys think a deal could happen. You think it gets done before the draft or does Morey hold out hope for a Lillard type?
