RJ was turning me into a fan towards the end of the season.
I don't think he played an Small Forward though, did he?
A little undersized to be playing SF for anything other than switch/backup minutes.

I guess when you’re guard sized and can’t yet run point or reliably shoot, you are positionless.
Jokes, I really like RJ. He’s the most promising guy on the roster currently to me. I think he’s in for a big year we he shows he can do both.

Absolutely tiny sample size, but over his final 8 games RJ Hampton averaged 16.0 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 5.6 APG and just 1.5 TOs while shooting .457/.435/.667 in 30.2 MPG.
Here he is working on some offseason drills.

Who’s the coach he’s working with? Dude is entertaining in his own right.
RJ looks smoooooth in those drills. That double clutch and extended layup is one of Donovan Mitchell’s big strengths attacking the rim. If RJ can get that down he could make a big jump next season.

I think very highly of RJ. I think he will be here for a long time. Seems like a humble guy. Next season is a breakout season for him

Too bad nothing rhymes with Little Elm, Texas. He needs a cool nickname like, The Hick from French Lick.

He's on the right team then.

To be fair, the NBA is pretty position-less now. I think we're one of the few forums that still holds a very old school view on positions with a lot of posters. You have your obvious "do nots", but yeah.

Are you saying this forum has the "oldest" demographic in all realgm?

I think RealGM has a pretty old demographic in general. Message boards like this aren’t the go-to chat spots for the kids these days. Not enough dancing.

I would like to see RJ work on his handles. Almost everything he does depends on sheer north-south speed and athleticism.

I dont know about Jalen Green, but I project him to be better than Bouknight.
