I'm surprised at how much love Moe Wagner is getting on here. For the record, I am neither hot nor cold on Moe. For this current team, if he's a cheap roster filler to bring off the bench, sure, why not? We're not bringing any worthwhile free agent names.

Some of you are talking about Moe Wagner like we don't already know who Moe Wagner is. I got nothing against him, but let's not oversell the guy.

We arent... we just think that its ok if he will be brought back next year to complement our bigs. The discussion is how much he is worth. And like a car,phone,shiny new thing... you give its pros and cons as to why it is worth that nuch and not a penny more.

Who is your 1st choice?

If we took Kuminga with the 5th pick and we already have Chuma, picking Wagner would give us a lot of big wings. They may go smaller with Keon or bigger with Sengun.

Chuma also has an injury history.
Same for Isaac.

Isaacs history is worse. Every year.

Guys, sometimes teams cut the wrong player. Sometimes if 2 lowly-thought of players are battling it out, it may be a favor to agent to release someone so they get another chance. I'm just happy we got to see what Wagner brings to the table and after seeing it, I hope it turns into a 2-3year deal with us.

I am absolutely a bit biased as a Michigan fan but Mo is a very good bench guy. He has had success in the NBA already with previous Teams. I’m not saying he’s going to go average 25/12 next year but I’d love to see him get a multi year deal. Guys like Christian Wood and Hassan Whiteside are examples of Teams just cutting the wrong guys.

Would be funny if they re-sign Moritz and later draft Franz.

I'm fine with that. Both brothers are a bit undervalued. They have offensive skill with high IQs, good size and extreme competitiveness. We do need a star, but we didn't luck out in the draft. At least we can get some guys with offensive skill and are plus defenders. I'd actually be happy with a Moody/Wagner draft. Maybe we could trade down if 5th is too high for Moody.

I hear ya. And there are a lot of good points made in the previous posts. Just felt like a handful were a bit over the top.
