Tough blow for him. Let's see if our top 10 pick can play next year.

Really a bummer. I know this board is generally sour on Dario, but he's been an important part of the squad. Losing him is a small blow for this series and a big blow for next year. I believe the Suns will likely be granted a 4.6 million DPE to sign someone to replace him for the 2021-2022 season.

Gotta feel for the Homie. Plenty of peaks and valleys to his season, but when he played well we were tough to beat. Hope he's able to come back at a high level.

Time for Craig and Frank to step up in the Finals, and Stix needs to take advantage of his opportunity to earn some minutes next year.

Even if we say 8 month recovery it puts him into March of next season at that point I think I would just have him take the entire season.

That sucks. Does that open up a roster spot next season? Like if we put him inactive? Or does the 15 player max include injured players regardless if active?

Pretty sure its 15 players under contract +2 ways. GSW for example had 15 under contract (including Klay) and then Bell and Mannion as their 2-way guys.

I know that some might take this the wrong way, but the good news on this front is that it wasn't like Dario was an explosive athlete that relied a lot on lift and power.

Hopefully that means he can come back and essentially be the same player he was before the injury.

Horrible to see one of our own get a bad injury like this. Funny people still talk smack about someone who has been a big part of the team, not just during games but in practice.

I like that the team can play small ball, and I do prefer craig and running vs the bucks! I hope we can get Saric a ring, and he can recover quickly.

If Frank gets minutes, he better hustle, be rough, and hit a few shots.

Yeah, it looks like recovery time goes anywhere from 6 to 12 months...average time to comeback 9 months (April for Dario).

We will see. I think that we will not ask for the exception.

I think Frank is going to play well. I just have a feeling. In the one game he played against Milwaukee this season he had 14 8 and 8. That's right, we were on a Frank triple double watch.

Granted he played 35 minutes in that one, but the point his he can be effective against this team. Frank is the type of guy you need to involve early for him to stay involved, so I'd like to see a designed play for him the first possession when he comes in off the bench.

Hope Dario makes a full recovery and we win a ring for him. He definitely has worked hard and has had terrible luck all season (COVID, ankle and now the knee).
