Can’t blame you, but I’ll take comfort in you picking the Bucks to win tonight in the game thread!

And the game thread was STILL filled with Buck supporters blaming the refs.

Nick Wright was crying about that but I never say him complain about how the Lakers and Clippers got so many more FTs than the Suns did.

The majority of these NBA pundits are bandwagoners and I genuinely doubt that they watch a lot of basketball games.

They are purely hired for entertainment not for basketball insight.

Tbf though that was good offense from Suns and bad defense from Bucks. We just kept moving the ball and getting so many open looks at 3. They'll drop most nights when you can generate that many good looks.

Jrue Holiday out here putting up Eric Bledsoe numbers
Khris Middleton is the most yo-yo player in the league, never know what you're getting from him.
Giannis needed literally anyone else to step up tonight.

Mikal Bridges would look incredible with the Sixers right now.

Suns look to be in the driver's seat but i think the 3 days off should help the Bucks get some rest in.

I’m getting close to conceding that the Suns are the better team, but going to need to see what happens at home.

Agree on the good offense and bad defense comment, but 50% still feels a bit high. I would expect 40% to be closer to the ‘norm’ which would have meant 12 less points and a very close end to the game.

Still felt the Suns deserved to win both games so far, but the Bucks haven’t done themselves any favours and really aren’t that far off, the Suns have just been a step ahead

You know your team is screwed when Jeff Teague gets real minutes in the finals.

It would've been close if that was the case. But then G1 would've been even more of a blow out taking 3pts away from the Bucks' near 50% shooting and and adding 6pts for the Suns who were shooting 32%.

I know the Suns got hot from 3, but I dont think that is totally a fluke.
The Bucks packed the paint, and denied Ayton the ball on the roll. They also defended hard not to give up the elbow mid-range jumpers by also packing the paint.

However what is the trade off?

Open three-point shooters in the corners. The shots that the Suns hit from three, apart from Booker's contested threes, were mostly WIDE open.

It's a trade off.

Kudos to them for hitting them, but I feel like we made things more difficult than they did for us. Middleton and Jrue just need to be ready for game 3 because tonight ain't it.

I think we're going back to Phoenix 2-2. Officiating was a non issue tonight, but we'll get the home whistle in 3.

Non-issue? Not sure many more calls can go the Bucks way. Glad that each team got a game called their way, but look for the refs to tighten up. Especially if Torrie Craig's injury caused by Giannis is season ending.

Yep, we got a good amount of corner 3's to go down. I thought we were more open than usual in that corner. Packing the paint to make things difficult for us means those corner weren't defended

Just to be clear I wasn’t saying if every team shoots 40% on 3’s, I was specifically referring to the % on the ‘open’ 3’s made in this game.

Not taking anything away from the Suns, they’ve been the better team both games and deserve to be up 2-0. I just think the Bucks are closer than they’re getting credit for IF they can do a better job finishing some of the easy baskets they’ve missed and the Suns cool down on the road

After game 1, just shut up. You got the whistle in game 1, and you're still out here bagging on officials? I gave your team credit for hitting really difficult shots, and you're still at it? What more do you want?

Seems to me ball dominance does not work when your player is not named LeBron James.

Phoenix moves the ball. Teams with those other guys don’t seem to do that. Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
Exactly. Nothing more frustrating then defending against an unselfish team that gets open looks. When played correctly, much tougher than Isolation, matchup ball.
