Dumbest team... Or one of the worst constructed teams in on the count of casualty.

"Youngest team, in NBA history, with the highest IQ," ESPN, am I supposed to take any of those takes seriously?

I'd have to pull the stats but I think he might be right on the youngest (On average) part. It's either them or the thunder when they faced the heat. Highest over all IQ might be a stretch, but granted CP3 is one of the highest basketball IQ players currently in the league.

Bud legit said in the clip "Play random" right before a NBA Finals game. I think that's the last place you'd like to "play random" in. Opposed to seeing Monty looking like he has a serious game plan.

Maybe it would have been more accurate to express it as the dumbest coach in NBA Finals history lol.

Highest IQ team in the finals may be the Spurs 2014.

If you are basketball purist, that was the highest peak of ball movement, cuts and shooting imo.

Dumbest may be the Thunder 2012

I loved everything Perk had to say. Bucks play the game of ball at a dumbed down level routinely.

Suns are on the other side of the spectrum. Hence, being up 2 games in the Finals on a team full of vets. They just play the game better.

Hero ball can save you if you have a super duper star.
Someone like KD or MJ, but the team who moves the ball, finds the cutters, takes advantage of mismatches and defends like he'll usually can win.

I don't think you can get on the stage that they're on or have the accolades that Bud has by being a dumb coach. Won't judge him on one clip. These teams are both on this stage because of an unusual amount of injuries

Bud could be great at several things required to be a good coach. Doesn't mean he's a great game manager or has the best advice during timeouts/halftime.

Heck, Spo's don't let go of the rope commentary is pretty bad. That wouldn't do anything for me.

Got home just when halftime started... literally nothing but commercials. Already lost interest in watching the second half lol

Dang Booker. The GB had already crowned you a top 10 player and you come out shooting the rock like Winslow....? Oh, the humility.

Fun fact:

Frank Kaminsky has more career NBA Finals points than KAT, D'Lo, Okafor, Porzings, Mario Hezonja, WCS, Mudiay, Stanley Johnson, Justise Winslow, and Myles Turner combined. :o

Spoiler:
he has 2 points

This one is over. Booker's gone cold and Jrue turned into Steph, both are unlikely to repeat. Not to mention Ayton in foul trouble. If you are suns, can't stress over this L.
