Simmons has a huge attitude problem. It’s damning for mine.

He and Oubre are from the same clothe...they should run together....just not on the Warriors.

Note: this in no way reflects whether I think trades for these guys are viable. Just an indication of if I like the guy, their game, and potential fit on the Warriors.
Lillard: 10. Amazing player and leader. Offense / gravity with Curry would offset defensive problems.
Mikal Bridges (since he was just brought up): 9. Only reason it’s not a 10 is because he may be hard to keep (affordability), but he’d be a phenomenal fit. Great player, still learning what he can do.
Simmons: 8. Seriously under-appreciated around the league, I think he’d fit great, though requiring some other minor roster adjustments.
Beal: 7. I don’t think he’ll be on the move at all, and concerned about whether it would work next to Curry.
Siakam: 5. I think he’d be better as a 3rd option with us than he was as a first option with Toronto, but not sold on him next to Draymond.
Wood: 3. Empty stats guy, I don’t think he’d fit well from a culture standpoint.
Sexton: 2. Similar to Wood, but creates a huge size / defense problem in the backcourt.
Nailed it. Especially the part I bolded. Couldn't agree more
Simmons spends his entire summer chilling out with his ladies...he is a loser.
Yeah, 24 yo millionaire spends all summer chilling with his ladies... screams loser to me too.

The Simmons discourse reminds me of one of the all time greatest parody interviews of all time...
goddamnit I cant find it, but I will, and will post. Perfectly encapsulates being a Philly fan. All they focus on is what he cant do (shoot) and ignore that he's elite at the rest of his game

This news may hurt if:
- you wanted us to get the Wolves 2022 pick
- you think that Ben Simmons really is broken

Any interest in Eric Gordon? I think he would be a great 6th man in GS. I’ve always liked his game.

Thank you. I don't know why so many fans want Wood on this team at the cost of important assets.Scoots1994 wrote:killacalijatt wrote:Any interest in Eric Gordon? I think he would be a great 6th man in GS. I’ve always liked his game.

If the Spurs made DeJounte Murray available as it is reported, could we get him by sending Oubre to a third team in a s&t? Both players have about the same salary.
I think #7 gets it done easily.

I like DeJounte Murray. I think his contract is fair and coming from the Spurs system, you know you are going to get a TEAM player whom has been taught the right way. Would be a solid/safe b/u for Steph.
The deal needs #14 for Vassell included or I hang up the phone.

If he has a great year where it looks like he took another step, we're only gonna have him cheap for another year. So the FO can then take a serious consideration on how much they value JP.Mob Byers wrote:Would any of you guys trade JP?

Maybe we trade down from 14, get two lesser picks
then maybe something like this: Looney/Poole/Lesser pick or 2022 1st for Dejounte Murray

Dont know if management wants to take on that money - and I think 7 is worth more than Murray.
Id give them 14 for Murray or 7 for Murray and (whatever pick SA has).
But we’d really need to get off some salary and that likely means Looney - which makes it less worth it.
