Ned Yost must be patting himself on the back after that line drive happened to go to one of our fielders. That builds confidence to make a stupid move like that again.

I think Mench should be given a chance to pitch. It's a daring strategy, but it just might work!

He's a bit too old and has too much experience to be pitching in a situation like this. I could see throwing Nix in there or Gwynn if he were still available.

Extra inning night game when the team has to travel afterwards = not so good. Winning this one is even more important

The bottom line is Shouse and Linebrink gave up 3ER in this game.

Thats not on Yost.

And Cordero might have done the same thing to Carlos Lee--he's actually pretty good.

People would scream if its King, whoever...in an extra inning game with Turnbow, Line, and Shouse gone, odds are you'll see multiple scrubs.

Inevitable.

Although I admit I would have Cordero in for Biggio, Berkman, Lee...

We'll see what Ned does.

Cordero is only allowed to pitch when he can pad his save stats evidently.

Wouldn't mind if no one was on base if Wise hit Berkman or Lee in the face.

We may consider using him when it's bases loaded and nobody out.
