I think the ceiling for our team is substantially higher with Mobley, not to mention an actual seamless fit...no possible stepping on toes at the guard position.

Have to pray Cavs either A) draft a SF to avoid stepping on toes or B) that the news of the Cavs wanting to "accelerate" their rebuild pushes them towards Suggs because is a player that will get other guys going which should naturally give the whole team a push to play better ie/ he was the engine that made Gonzaga what they were, take him off the team, I'm sorry but that group wasn't doing anything. Because Mobley is going to take some time and if there really is a greater push on Altman than meets the eye ITS POSSIBLE...but I don't think probable.

I just don't think they could handle the public scrutiny of passing on a player being dubbed an "unicorn", in combination with most US media downplaying Suggs especially with a PREVIOUS front office messing up so badly with Bennett, I think they'll be afraid to disobey the status quo.

Funny how a person's wingspan is the determining factor in a comparison ... lol please.

Suggs has more Roy in him than anyone .. just needs to work on his shot and thats the best comp for him

My opinion of the top 4 in terms of potential impact/style:

Cade <=> LBJ
Green <=> Carmelo
Suggs <=> Wade
Mobley <=> Bosh

I'm not comparing the two players, I'm comparing the situation.

4th pick. A stud big-man and a guard that's rated slightly lower than the other top prospects.

Mobley looks amazing, but long-term I think Suggs ends up the better pro.

Nah, not much like Roy. Cade is more like Roy, but obviously bigger. Suggs is way more athletic though and plays more off instincts, not reading the D like Cade as of yet. So I think he has a higher ceiling than most ppl think. Especially with his elite court vision

Cade is nothing like Roy. Cade reminds me too much of Grant Hill with a shot.

Suggs and Roy have a lot of similarities. Body type, creating of the dribble, p and r, transition buckets
