Yes. 10000% Best overal prospect in this draft with the highest ceiling.
Guys with his skill at length dont come along often. As hard as it will be not getting Suggs, Masai will have an easier time getting a guy who brings a similar skill set then say a guy like Mobley.
I love Suggs, and I'm thrilled that we're likely going to get him. Personally, he's the kind of prospect I can see being really good and staying on the team for a long time. Obviously Suggs totally fits the program with his skill set, smarts and work ethic.
But, I think the point you make about finding a guy with a similar skillset is really valid. If we get Mobley, it suddenly makes a lot of sense to bring back Lowry, S&T Lowry for a guard like Seth Curry, Tyrese Maxey, etc., or find another guard (like Dinwiddie) in Free agency. We can still fill in our bigs with free agents, but it just becomes a bit more difficult as the guys available (Noel, Olynyk, Birch etc) are good but have bigger holes in their games.
If you believe in Mobley as a prospect, he's the type of player that is very difficult to get in free agency or trade. Considering we were able to get some really good guards like Norm and Fred in the 2nd rd/undrafted, there's a lot more potential to get those types of guys at a lower price.
Personally, I really hope that Cleveland takes Barnes, and Masai/Bobby have the choice of Suggs or Mobley. I have enough faith in our FO to make the right decision there.
