"Just scan through the teams that have been linked to a Simmons trade already: Cleveland, Indiana, Minnesota and Sacramento are known suitors. Toronto is also said to have expressed interest. More will emerge."

Good. We should absolutely be in on this buy low opportunity. Not kicking the tires would be criminal.

HOOOO MAN. I want this kid. He's a defensive beast and has one weakness. If there's one guy in the lineup who can't shoot, I'd want him to be the best defender on the team. He's literally that.

S&T for a package involving Lowry seems logical. Has to be multiple teams involved.

I just don't think the Sixers can get a premium Star Calibre player for Simmons back. Guys like Lowry/CJ Mccolum are best they can do imo

Heck we made do Partrick McCaw.

Shouldn't we know who we are getting in the draft, before we trade?

They’ll want more than a S&T Lowry.

A young player and picks.

I want him, but at what cost

Morey wouldn't give Thybulle for Lowry, he ain't giving up Simmons for him. It would probably cost Siakam or OG.

Morey is like Ainge. He doesn't sell his assets cheap.

As long as the pick and OG aren’t involved everything else should be on the table

Obviously the potential is interesting but he's at a crossroads career wise. Does he take his profession seriously or does he continue on as is? Given his contract, the safe money bets on the latter. AVOID.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Seriously doubt anything comes of this, our FO is just doing their due diligence. It'll be some desperate organization like the Wolves, or Kings that'll pay way too much to get him.

If he is making this kind of money and needs to be reminded to take his job seriously? **** that. He isn't the kind of personality this organization usually goes for.

I agree with most people here...I think its more due diligence.

But saying that, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Raps involved in a Ben Simmons 3 way trade in some capacity....because I still think Lowry ends up going to Philly

As our FO isn't known for its leaks, I suspect this is coming from the Philly side.

If they are serious about moving on from Simmons and the only offer we have seen out in the wild that they supposedly rejected was Brogdan, Warren, and a FRP they are going to want to have as much perceived interest as possible to do much better than that.

I am sure the Raps have done some due diligence, but I don't put too much stock into our interest.

That's a massive overpay.

If there's any team that can fix Ben Simmons it's the Raptors but I still don't think it's likely in any case.
Tre Mann should have been a Top 10 Pick in the 2021 Draft

Siakam and OG are off the table. Its gonna have to be around FVV & Trent which I'm fine with if we're rebuilding. No way in hell a Lowry S&T gets it done, that would be robbery

What can we offer? Multiple future picks?

I don't see us swapping Siakam for Ben. And we certainly wouldn't trade #4 for him.

I doubt this is true.

It doesn't appear that Simmons wants to be fixed. He is what he is at this point.
