Freddie and a resigned Kyle and a few future picks will do it.

I don't see us swapping Siakam for Ben. And we certainly wouldn't trade #4 for him.

I doubt this is true.

Kyle Lowry S&T + Trent?

F Philly. No interest in Simmons. No room for his entitled ego in the Raptors locker room. Morey can go slide down the razor blade of life.

Why would we add picks to a Pascal for Simmons swap?

It doesn't appear that Simmons wants to be fixed. He is what he is at this point.

I agree with this, but I'm just saying if there's any team that can perform this long shot developmental miracle it's us. For the record I don't want Ben Simmons on this team, I'm just saying the Raps developmental program might be the only one that even has a slim chance of fixing him.

I don't think I'd do Pascal for Simmons straight up. So including picks seems like a very bad idea.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

The “interest” is likely “if Kyle chooses you, let’s talk about Ben Simmons” which isn’t as crazy as it seems.

The problem is he has to be willing to fix himself, and based on what people are saying he's completely fine staying as good/bad as he is.

It's worth a shot to see what they want though. I wouldn't be opposed to adding Ben Simmons as is for cheap.

Philly is desperate. They're in win-now mode. If they scan around the league and can't find the "All-Star Calibre player" they're looking for.....Kyle Lowry might be their best option. That's when Masai gonna pounce.

Kyle Lowry S&T, Chris Boucher Paul Watson JR + 2nd for Ben Simmons.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Offer Lowry + filler. If they don't take it (which they probably won't)...move on. Simmons has 4 more years at an average of around 37 million. His lack of shooting relative to that contract, despite all the defense and potential, is not something I give up true assets for.

I'd even give them a future 1st. If we can end up getting back a future core piece like Simmons out of Lowry's departure, it makes the 4th pick additional value instead of being "Lowry's replacement", which makes us so much better as a team.

EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, it's an interesting scenario but we might be able to do more with the cap space. Boucher is pretty good and if we signed someone like Noel, that's a cheaper defensive juggernaut who can't shoot as a Center which is a lot better for our roster balance.

Don't think the Sixers are going to get the star that they want.

Simmons value took a massive hit and any team that trades for him knows they are going to have a liability in the playoffs.

Philly isn't going anywhere if they make a lateral trade with Simmons. The time to go all-in is now, they need to throw everything in the Simmons package for Dame. Maybe Simmons+Tobias+Thybulle+Maxey+Picks for Dame & CJ

if it's for Kyle + not much else in a s&t, sure. Not interested in trading more than that for him
