I don't see any of these deals getting made. The only way I see us trading Harris is for a bigger need on a smaller contract, and that's assuming leadership believes a guy like Shamet is ready to take a step forward this year.

If the Nets could somehow swing a deal with the Cavs with Harris and Nance as the principle pieces, I think that meets what Marks would be looking for.

Try to find a team to take on dj and 27 for a very low 2nd or a top 55 protected pick. Or search for a bad player expiring contract for the same package.

I’m leaning more on a trade exception as the primary gain from Dinwiddie. Use it at the trade deadline to fill a hole. Likely a wing. By then we would have a good idea what’s reasonably available including buyouts. To keep Dinwiddie would require him to settle for a lot less. What we can’t do is let him walk and lose that flexibility.

What's up Nets fam?

Had to take a long break from basketball, the way game 7 went and all the injuries left a bitter taste in my mouth.

In fact, haven't watched a single game of the Finals and a literal handful of minutes of both Conference Finals.

But I've accepted our fate for the season and got my mind right as a fan lol. Also had a lot of things going on irl and didn't have much free time to post, so I lurked here and there.

But I digress...

If Lillard is moved early, honestly would not be shocked if we nab McCollum for something like Joe/Shamet/Jordan/27/2 of our better 2nds.
