With that in mind, I'm warming more and more to the deal that is just Tobi for CJ with as little attached as possible from both sides.
Yeah, this is why we should focus to pump Ben’s value if we can’t get anything good for him.
I’d rather be strategic and creating favorable situations before executing my plans.
Once Embiid is nearing his return, we then trade both Tobi and Ben.
We may get sweeteners in the Ben trade than we can attach to Tobi for a better package.
And if you want to trade Tobi, trade him to someone who’s value is likely to increase than decrease relative to time elapsed, someone I dont think Cj is but a guy who could be is Sexton.
I think Ben and Sexton can compliment one another then you find some decent stretch 5. You’d then run modern basketball and pump those two’s value. Honestly, I wouldnt be surprised if we end up even playing better than when we were playing with Biid!
Worse comes to worst, we just sit out Biid for the season. Then package the lottery pick and Ben for someone really good.
I find people here just want a new toy to be the popular guy in campus right away so they’re looking for quick fix. But these quick fix are the type of moves that can really destroy an entire program.
When value is not on your side, then you find ways to let time as your ally.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
