Neemias played in a weaker conference, and was a junior (played 3 years in college) and so isn't going to get a lot of looks. Malachi was a DPOY but dropped for that reason. We look past things like that.

But his advanced stats were eye popping for his final year:

Those are great comparisons. I remember the 2012 draft if it was yesterday. Posters on this forum 9 years ago were salivating to get Michael-Kidd Gilchrist. We had the 8th pick and eventually drafted Terrence Ross. Just like today, posters back then proposed trade packages to move up and draft Gilchrist. Anthony Davis was going to go Number 1. Gilchrist like Scottie Barnes, was hyped as a great athlete, who was going to guard multiple positions.

Raptor fans were excited to possibly get him if they moved up. The thinking was Gilchrist was eventually going to get his offensive game/jumper/shot creation developed really well over time. He never reached his supposed full potential in the end. No disrespect to guys like Barnes or Kuminga, but these type of guys are found every year in the draft. You should not draft them especially this year, if you have the 4th pick. Especially over talents like Mobley or Suggs. Kuminga or Barnes lack the consistent jump shooting/shot creation needed from supposed elite talents.

Who are some good people to follow to see who's working out with the Raptors? The regular beat writers have been a little inconsistent on that, I've found.

Really hoping we can trade up for Mobley. Becoming more convinced by the day that he's the best prospect in the draft.

I dont want any part of Simmons. Today's PG's gotta shoot. He will get crucified like Derozan did. This is when Mobley was a junior, wiseman a senior

That block at the beginning, dunked on wiseman too. Mobley was better than the #1 senior in the country when he was a junior. So was Cade, Jalen and kuminga too.

Miobley is a beast, I think I would take him #1 over Cade. The only knock on him i see is he doesnt have that FU attitude and wanting to kill people like Giannis.. more like a silent killer like OG and just goes about his business. Hopefully he develops that as he gains more confidence

What a haul! Compare that to Masai's 2016 draft/undrafted signings. Yes, it was indeed what Uros would call a "Golden Time" in franchise history.

There absolutely must be a plan to get a pick in the high 20s. My guess - Lowry sign and trade to Lakers.

And if Neemias is the target (and he should be), Mobley probably isn't a target.

That might have been his board 3 weeks ago but if you listen to his thoughts today he has dropped Cade a few spots upon further review. And while he didn't say if he has Barnes or Suggs no.2, he has them both in his second tier after Mobley.

He's also very high on Sengun, still higher on him than Jalen Green while being very low on Davion Mitchell - says he slips to the 2nd round on his board.

His old takes are on the same page. He was super high on Dragan Bender and Marquise Chriss. Low on Jalen Brown. seems very 50/50 on his projections. BJ Boston before Kuminga? lol

Neemias also plays in mountain west conference... they like scouting in these sleeper conferences like western athletic
