Coach Bud's adjustments from game 1 to now have been underrated.

CP3/Booker postgame of Game 4.
At 2:40 or so, CP3 says the team's turnover issues are on him and he's got to clean it up.

I get people disliking crowder and cp3. But everyone else on the team is pretty clearly likeable.
But, yah, I do like the rest of the gents.

Hot damn.
People keep hot taking that Giannis is fools gold that can’t do it in the postseason. Absolute clowns. The guy is a superstar. You don’t win back to back MVPs without being amazing. If the Bucks lose, won’t be because Giannis didn’t do his job

Booker is a pissy, whining flopper who gives up on defense too much (maybe because he knows he'd foul too often). He has a nice haircut, so I'll give that to you.

Having said that, Paul's flopping and bitching to refs is rubbing off on Booker.
The same way it rubbed off on Blake and DJ

Nice game. Bucks just got to take one little game in Phoenix. Legit championship if the bucks pull off a finals win kudos to them.

Nope proved you wrong here, stats don't lie as you can clearly see Bucks got the benefit of the whistle the last two games.
Suns should have won this one and I'm not blaming this loss on that but it's ridiculous to think that the Bucks haven't had the benefit of the calls the last two games.
You might not understand basketball. What the offensive team does is the biggest determinant of fouls. The bucks drive to the basket relentlessly and the suns flop egregiously.
Look at the replay of all the games objectively. If you don't think Booker got 6 gifts and Middleton got raped 6 times with no call, you might need to reconsider your objectivity.
Look there were plenty of calls where the refs didn't blow the whistle on the Suns driving to the basket, the block on Payne where he got whacked on the arm or the Booker drive where he lost the ball with plenty of contact on Tucker.
It's not that the Suns weren't driving to the basket and if you don't think the Suns didn't drive to the rim plenty I don't know what to say to you.
Bucks aren't being disadvantaged much by the refs in this series so far.
LOLOLOLO...........................HAHAHAHAHAHAH
MAybe one of the most delusional things I have ever seen.

Re: NBA Finals: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Phoenix Suns, Part 2 | Suns lead 2-1
That was the first game this series that I thought the refs were horrendous on both ends.
The Booker 6th foul and Giannis not clearing baseline to inbounds will surely dominate the ref talk for this game, but before either of those plays I thought the Bucks were getting the short end of the stick.
Having said that, the Bucks really weren't doing themselves any favours, the continually shoot themselves in the foot with indecisiveness on offense and some complete breakdowns on defense.
On defense, just off the top of my head there was the Paul drive to the basket with no one near him, the wide open 3 for Crowder, wide open jumper for Payne and lob for Ayton that were examples of some of the worst defensive reactions I've seen in an NBA finals.
On offense there's no structure, guys are half heartedly pump faking shots that they should be taking and it's so unconvincing to the defense that they don't get any advantage of it when they put the ball on the floor and/or they're taking such poor care of the ball as they drive it into the paint off that pump fake and they have no clue what they're doing. I'm shocked to see the Bucks had just 5 turnovers, that has to be a mistake right? It felt like they had 3 times that many watching the game, maybe just a lot of bad passes or loose balls that they recovered
Giannis should be forbidden from taking 3's, Tucker has been completely useless, Holiday might have money on the Suns, he had a couple of big defensive plays at the end of the game, but if he doesn't miss so many layups/easy baskets the Bucks are likely up double digits anyway
Tucker/Holiday and Portis combined to go 5/27...your role players are supposed to play better at home, they better bring their A game in Phoenix.
I think after this series is over we're going to find out Giannis has something up, because he looks way too tired out there. Did he previously get Covid?
For the Suns, Paul chose a bad time to disappear & while Booker was huge it seemed to leave the rest of the Suns players doing way too much standing around watching. Bridges and Johnson combine to go 7-11, they needed to be more involved. Ayton was huge on the boards but MIA on offense, I think he'll play better back home.
I did say after game 3 that I felt the winner of game 4 would go ahead to win the series and I'm sticking with that, but honestly neither team has looked great, it's possible they're both dealing with fatigue having never gone this far into the playoffs, or the rest between games was too long

I agree.scrabbarista wrote:When you kids are older, you'll understand that corruption always leads to incompetence. NBA refs are not selected or weeded out for their excellence. The league has put a premium on (1) silence or outright lies from refs in the face of controversies and (2) preferred outcomes (long series, stars advancing rounds) over excellence or even competence. Tonight's game was just like the ten millionth example of the inevitable results.
Anyway, yay Bucks. That Giannis block was unreal.
I also think a more nefarious, criminal element is at work. I think it is only a matter of time before corruption and point spreads affected by officiating draws the attention of the FBI.
Tim Donaghy already said what's up.

Seemed like there were more than that. Must have been a bitch to drive home with all the traffic. Unless a lot of them just stayed and partied.

Just finished. Kids. Anyways. Is it too late to react to the Giannis block. That was as good of a sports play as the Jeter missed cutoff/relay home. Breen was on about 10.5 in the 4th. And it’s not in the box score but I thought Connaughton gave the Bucks big time minutes tonight.

Stop it dude you can’t just look at how many free throws are taken. Game 3 they were hacking Giannis left and right hoping he shouts 50% or lower. This gm they finally were calling Middleton getting fouled. Bucks play more of attacking the basket style instead of jumpers like Suns are taking.

You have to see the difference here. Booker mugged Jrue on a layup. It looked intentional. Giannis had one foot inbounds on an inbound pass. While it technically could be called, it gives the bucks 0 advantage. It had no positive or negative outcome on the game. Booker mugging Jrue on a layup had a negative outcome for the Bucks. It's not super complicated.
