If you have 18 picks over the next 6 years it's to be able to trade for (undervalued) stars. Probably gonna cost too much but Presti should at least try.

No news related to the Thunder here, and Sixers unsurprisingly want an 'all star caliber player'.

Other notes:
John Collins expected to get a max, either from Atlanta or from Dallas, Miami, San Antonio, or Minnesota.

Knicks most aggressive team looking to trade for Sexton

Houston really trying to move up to #1 for Cade, also trying to trade Gordon

Pelicans unlikely to match any significant offer for Lonzo, Bulls and Clippers (?) showing highest interest. Shams also points out that Jeremiah Robinson-Earl has impressed teams, especially New Orleans. Strange inclusion given where NOP is picking and JRE is a late first rounder at best.

Isaiah Todd is canceling workouts with teams in the back half of the first round like the Jazz, focusing on visits with lottery pick teams. No way he goes in the first round, so guess he's trying to get picked in the second round by a bad team? Odd.

Gonna be pissed if Houston gets Cade after winning their 52/48 flip against us :(

It’s sucks but it’s not the end. Cade isn’t Lebron and even if he was, Lebron left his hometown once because incompetent ownership couldn’t build a good team around him. You really want to trade places with the rockets? We never talk about Clay Bennett because he trusts Presti. Fertitta is the houston rockets. The guy singlehandedly dismantled a team on the verge of knocking off the warriors to the second pick in the draft. No thanks.

We’ve got multiple paths forward to building a true contender. We’ve had some good things happen and some bad things. More of that will continue, but I still like where we are now even if it’s not clear how things will work out.

Nah I think we are still a better position...but they closed the gap a bit with their lottery luck. They lost some picks to us but they have enough to make a good rebuild.

Bennett made some mistakes too (not as bad as Fertitta of course)

Rafael Stone looks like a pretty good GM but still have Presti over him and our organisation is way better so obviously I wouldn't trade places...just don't want them to get Cade

Maybe he has a floor in terms of a team that will select him in the 20s? If he wants a second round contract that’s betting he will be able to outperform his contract to get extended after a 3rd year as RFA

Fertitta sounds crazy . For that alone I rather be in our place than theirs.

I think the jury is very much still out on stone. He didn’t get any assured high end talent in the harden trade. He passed on Levert and Allen for Oladipo. He traded for John Wall. The KPJ move will only be good if the rockets can creat a culture that keeps him out of trouble. Stone doesn’t have an easy job and I’m not saying he’s bad. I think we need more time to know for sure.

OMG all those deals are absolutely **** insane. Especially the 1st and 3rd. Like, how can the writer be in this position to have a website and be so wildly clueless.

Sorry but i feel hopeful after reading this .

I don’t think philly or Spurs is led by a dumb gm but idk about mavs new gm . I can be talked down to removing both picks … begrudgingly .

I'm not sure who has the assets for Dame but he's definitely worth Simmons and number 6 by himself.

Still think Dame will stay in Portland but if he goes to Philly, this is great for our 2025 pick (and if they need a 3rd team for Simmons, please call Uncle Sam)

Not to go from Dame to Ty, but what is the value of Jerome?

Was always a big fan in college and was sort of bummed when he was awful in PHX, but he seems to have finally found his grove last year.

I feel like OKC will value him more than what he would return in a trade. I’d like to give him another season to see if his shooting is legit, because if it is, I think he’s worth a pick in the mid 20s.

Mavs deal is pretty decent, if they add a pick swap we got a deal.

(Damn those guys are so dumb, we could get paid instead of them)

Sour grapes and all that, but after all the 'Dame ended OKC's franchise' takes by Blazers fans back in 2019, I am enjoying the complete implosion happening in Portland. Not to mention his schtick has always been screaming about loyalty and mocking other players who have moved in the past, so will be interesting to see what backlash there is.

Hoping they don't completely blow it up if they trade him, don't need more competition at the bottom of the West next year.

I think he can be had . But how many seconds are you going put on the table ? I don’t think any team offering a first no matter how late.
