If you know who OKC wants, then perhaps you can take advantage of that by dangling the pick to potential suitors that might want to move in front of OKC.
It's an easy trade to make on value. It isn't guaranteed to pay off, but you would generally expect the 16th pick to possess more value than the difference between 5 and 6. If I can get a comparable talent at 6 plus something like Mann or Garuba? That's an easy decision for me.

I would love for the magic to get an extra pick but the question should be would OKC do this because I am pretty certain the magic would. Unless OKC is in love with either Kuminga or Barnes and fearful we might pick their favorite of the two, I don't see why they would do this.
