I've said it before and I'll say it again. This team, top to bottom, sucks major ass... I'm not even upset anymore - I'm numb. It's funny to me now. We are witnessing perhaps a meltdown of historic proportions. You guys can tell your grandkids about this season...[/code]

I'm not here to troll but I remember in spring training there was a stat that said only twice in baseball history has a team done as poorly as the Mets did in spring training & made it to the playoffs. I dismissed the stat but looking at things now....

I can't believe we're going to lose again to the Nats. Aaaaaahhhhhhh. Oh great, and the Phillies just tied St. Louis. I blame Willies for starting Lawrence. That was a dumb move. But I generally liked the job that Willie has done with the team over the last three years. I would like to see him argue with the umps and "put on a show" to get himself kicked out of a game just once to get the team fired up. I guess he doesn't believe in that stuff. Funny, the Phillies were in the tank early this season when Charlie Manuel threatened an a-hole radio talk show host here in Philly (Howard Eskin) and it was caught on TV and aired on ESPN, etc. The Phillies started winning games after that episode. Who knows?

Two outs in the 9th. Green up. We're done.

Oh man, this is becoming surreal. We CAN'T miss the playoffs, can we? I'd be ticked as it is if we had to settle for the Wild Card. I'd be beside myself if we can't even manage that...

I said it 2 days ago and I'll say it again.

All this team needs to do is make the playoffs. Cause that's all we'll remember - how they do in the playoffs.

These 2 loosing streaks will be something that some hard core fans will remember. That's all.

We're still 2 1/2 games up.

I want both NY teams in the playoffs. It's good for sports in NY, good for the city, and good for baseball.

Good luck in your run to the playoffs and lets hope for another Subway Series.

Well, you gotta admit, it was fun while it lasted. (the yanks, all 200 million dollars worth) were below 500. How could we not make fun of that. It was too perfect.

but it was very good of you not to trash talk back (until the subtle putdown your post, above, that is).

That made no sense. I never complained to anyone that you were trolling but that doesn't mean you weren't. You troll all the time and my post had nothing to do with that at all.

Nice job deleting my post MOD's. I wish you good luck and you delete my post. Only the Mets.
