Among players, the guy I thought was a lock to become an announcer -- & be really good at it too! -- was Martell Webster.
I remember him being articulate, quick-witted & smart. I wonder what he's been doing these last almost 4 years since he retired.

Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

Martell had a public mental health issue a few years back and he tweeted some things that probably make him not employable in that role. I hope he is doing better.

Garrett Temple, Jared Dudley, Ramon Sessions. Gortat would also be great.
Kara Lawson was the best. The current crew makes me embarrassed to be a fan.

The “it” = another promising get. Like Gafford. Like Deni. Like Lopez. Like Neto. Like Bertans for nada. Etc.
I’m not saying WU June is a great get. He may be. I dearly hope.
But that’s the line of thought …

I'm a huge pro wrestling fan and something they almost always have on point is commentary and of it's not it gets fixed fast. I hate that other sports stick with broadcast teams too long.

I think Dudley's a shoe-in to be a broadcaster at some point. He was born to talk, lol. Kara was getting real good - she became a real pro in such a short period of time.

Alex Montgomery of Olympic 3x3 basketball is amusing. "He's always on like the porch light."

Listening to Kara during the USA Women Basketball on NBC w/ Bob Fitzgerald has been great.
She's been broadcasting and coaching the 3x3 women's squad! Love it

Kutch has been giving local podcasters some time. I'll give him kudos for that
Let's check in on the Russ stans who aren't happy with Bob McDonald and Stu Lantz in LA

I haven’t eaten one in 27 years.
It’s absolute horseshxt. Engineered food. Sugar, fat, salt, sweet.
Junk, junk, junk.
I know this makes him sound out of touch and weird to some. But I’d rather this out of touch and weird than the Beals, with their bizarro, misplaced suspicions of vaccines.

They must have changed them over the years. The last few times I've had them (about once a year), they tasted so much worse than when I was a kid. Same with the french fries. Going to McD's was a treat when I was a kid. Now, it's... meh. The taste bothers me more than the health, tbh.

I read somewhere that McDonalds is the world's biggest purchaser of beef... eyeballs.
Not to worry, however, I think they only use them in the shakes.

Supporting who they are — what they are — the world they have created … supporting the degradation of meals and mealtime, of the notion that you gather around the table and sit and talk and eat … all of that bothers me more than matters of taste and health.
Resistance doesn’t end with Trump leaving. This is the resistance that transcends Trump. Resisting this corporatism and corporatizing. Resisting this rewriting of our brains and psyches. Resisting these cheap temptations. Resisting the putting of profit over everything else. Resisting the systematic destruction of a culture (and cultures).

I only eat McDonald's in some international locations.
Go to Egypt... the McDonald's there is fantastic. Breakfast is great. And they have a Chicken Big Mac which is incredible.
