We weren't getting him this year. If we're back in the 20's next year, he might be an option.

Warriors are unable to complete this trade. Since they are a taxpaying team, they are only able to take back 125% of the salary they are sending out, plus $100,000.
Warriors can only take back $13.7M in salary based on the amount they are sending out.
Cut $4.7M from the Warriors incoming trade value to make this trade successful for the Warriors.

INDIANA PACERS
League sources say the Pacers are incredibly active in trade talks involving this pick, both for deals moving into the top 10 or out of the draft entirely. If they stay here, they’re in an intriguing position with a number of options. They could draft a prospect who could help immediately or they could lean toward a slew of raw players who could pop down the line. Giddey fits into the latter category. He can bring playmaking early in his career, but with fluidity off the bounce and a great feel he could be molded into a primary source of shot creation.

I can actually just hear that.

Hey, even my bad scenarios think outside the box.

Anyway, I always get excited about transactions and it's the offseason officially so that's the only game in town. We've got a couple expiring contracts we could move in a deal along with the pick so there are plenty of options.
Wizop wrote:Chad Ford has posted his tier ratings this week. He says many teams use a system like this taking the player within the appropriate tier that fits their needs. taking a player from a lower tier when a higher tier player is still on the board is a reach in this system. He says the list is made after talking to league contacts. I won't list his tier one or two names as they are the six players (three ones and three twos) we all know. Here are his tier three names. this tier is High Level Starters. Naturally there are six names so it is possible they'll all be gone at 13. In alphabetical order:
Bouknight
Giddey
Johnson
Mitchell
Segun
Wagner
In a postcast after he posted this he says Ziaire Williams is rising up his rankings. that'd make 13.
