Size matters

GS kind of clouded our judgement because you don't really need anything if have Curry and Klay (and KD) in their prime but most teams need to face the reality that size does matter.

getting through the grueling of the NBA szn is no joke is the biggest takeaway from this mess of the szn

Well Nets play small ball and they win if healthy. At the end talent wins. Giannis was on a different level than anyone else in the series. And Khris & Jrue showed up when they needed to

Congrats to Yanni, Tuck and them boys, I legit didn't think they could do it. Put some Respek on Middleton name too

Lopez,Giannis,Tucker,Middleton, and Holiday lineup did some serious damage

Talent>size, Bucks had both and their guys executed. They earned it

Yup they had the perfect balance but let me tell you. Our Heat better not go into next year with Bam at center and a frail 6’7 220 SF type at PF or else face the same demise.

Our "missing piece" Jae Crowder was 4-11 and 2-9 from 3 and got punked by Bobby Portis.

Let's not forget that Bucks did go through Miami Heat with all kinds of problems all szn long, Big 1 and half Nets, and big McBone Trae, Bogdanovitch, Hunter less Atl Hawks. They got very lucky esp. in the 2nd round.

Again, small teams tend to have a hard time getting through grueling of the NBA szn and it showed this szn. I'd say Nets were a prime example of that. Nash were playing KD and Kyrie (and hobbled Harden) 45+ mins in 2nd round for crying out loud. that's unsustainable.

Andre Iguodala and Trevor Ariza against this front line of the Bucks was pure comedy. Our front office needs to get it’s mind right.

Yeah i’m ready for the draft and free agency. Mostly i’m curious of our roster construction. It’s been rather shaky for a while.

I was talking to some random sports fans about NBA finals the other day in public.

they were not like us die-hard NBA fans but more like college football some NBA, NFL, etc casual fans. They did not know who or how to pronounce Giannis' name (for a good reason). They were calling him that freaking big guy on the Bucks.

If Giannis wants to be considered among GOATs, I suggest he change his name to Johnny Alexander

Giannis at 26 years old:

5x all-star
5x all-nba
2x mvp
1x dpoy
1x champion
1x finals MVP

50/15 in a championship close out game.

Move over LeBron and Durant, there’s a new sheriff in town. Giannis is bigger, stronger and much younger.

Enjoy this moment, the next decade belongs to Giannis. And to think he did it without a super team in as small of a market as possible after committing long term.

So much respect Giannis, you earned it.

Giannis is the best basketball player on the planet.

A post from GB

If it wasn't for KD's big feet. We may have a different champ.
