Mann at his floor is a serious 6MOY candidate. Always a good pick

Been busy lately and I don't remember if I referenced this, but hell yea. Would love taking a chance on this guy in the second or undrafted.

I'm beginning to think McBride and Mann won't be there for our pick.

Me neither lol.

From Pick 5 in this draft it’s open season with a loooooooooot of unfinished products.

Butler and Mann have “Pro Ball” games. Duarte as well they don’t go too far down in drafts.

This draft is probably going to be lightish on all time great talent but strong on the depth department imo.

I mean even my tier one group all three (Cade, Green, Mobley) are circumspect.

My guess for who the first 26 picks will be are (in no order, just using Tankathon for reference):

Cade Cunningham
Jalen Green
Evan Mobley
Jalen Suggs
Scottie Barnes
Jonathan Kuminga
Keon Johnson
Franz Wagner
Alperen Sengun
Josh Giddey
Jalen Johnson
Moses Moody
Davion Mitchell
James Bouknight
Chris Duarte
Jaden Springer
Isaiah Jackson
Usman Garuba
Tre Mann
Josh Christopher
Miles McBride
Ayo Dosunmu
Juhann Begarin
Neemias Queta
Vrenz Belijenbergh
Cameron Thomas

I think the cat is out of the bag in terms of prioritizing multi-tooled creators.

My guess is Corey Kispert, Kai Jones, Ziaire Williams, Sharife Cooper, Trey Murphy, Jared Butler, Greg Brown, Quentin Grimes, Joel Ayayi, etc, etc will be available to us. At that point, I'd be fine with trading out of the draft TBH. Too many risks. We're in a pretty bad spot if this is how it plays out.

I will say that it never ceases to surprise me how bad NBA GMs are with decision making.

Jalen Johnson. Watched him a few hours ago. Looked extremely raw. Tremendous athlete, can pass, looks like a gazelle in the open floor. An offensive project for sure though. Wasn't blown away, wasn't upset at what I saw either.

Ziare Williams. This guy looked really really bad. Another athlete with tremendous tools. Doesn't look like he knows how to play basketball though. No shot, no handle, stiff.

Keon Johnson. Caught my eye actually. Ridiculous athlete, natural looking shooting stroke, and flashed a tiny bit of handle / slashing ability. If the stars align I could see him having a Jaylen Brown type trajectory.

Franz Wagner. Consummate role player. Good at a lot of things, mastery of none.

James Bouknight. We all know about him. Good size, athleticism, handle, shot. Good prospect.

Moses Moody. Super long arms, defends, can shoot somewhat, gets to the line. If you're upset about trading away Mikal, this is your guy. Impressive production for a freshman.

I would only do this trade if Booknight is available.

I know you're not a fan, but I think at that point, we take Cooper and not look back.

We satisfy a major need of landing an underclassman-aged creator. And we get one with major facilitating tool (A+ range). Also, eventual jumpshot is probable. A lot of optimism for Cooper, regardless of finishing ability and defensive shortcomings IMO.

BTW, Jared Butler did get medically cleared to play in the NBA. I wonder how far in the 2nd round he slides for the medical red flag. If he's good to go, he'll be a strong selection there for whoever.

Mann at his floor in the TBT

T-Rex arms limited athleticism...if the skill doesn't carry he could be marginalized quickly

Monix watch him live. Dude is one of the best creators in this whole draft class bar none. Has the floater game. I mean as far as his shortcomings go it is a reality. What also is a reality is the dude has serious NBA polish much more then other ranked higher prospects.

I mean even at pick one with Cade he has legit question marks. Every prospect outside of generational stuff is like that.

You can paint them all in their best light but also their worst. It’s how you screw around with production and stat sheets. It falls somewhere in between.

I agree his dimensions isn’t great because if they were he’d be top 5 EASY. He’s more polished then Maxey is by a distance.

Butler isn’t big either and has the condition which is an auto no for me. Heart is a no go zone for me which is rare. ACL’s/PCL’s are a wash don’t really care about that. But I’ve seen too many players just can’t play because the heart is the ticker that’s it. I rate him too NBA game. But it’s a pass wish him well though tragic circumstances.

Christopher/Mann 1st pick , Todd/Onu 2nd pick and it’s a win win in my book.

Daryl, what are you doing...

If 2nd round, he’s OK.

Is he worse than Kispert?

I wouldn't waste time on either of them, but at least Kispert has a projectable skill and role in the NBA. A standstill scrub type shooter, ala the Korvers of the world.

Garza is the definition of a college C with no NBA traits.

Tre Mann should go Top 10 in this draft, regardless. He's way more skilled and talented than so many of these guys.

I can see where you're coming from actually. Although Cam looks a little bit more experimental in his shot creation. Quickley was like pure 3&D. Quickley gives me worse Bones Hyland vibes. I'm going to try and watch a few games of Cam tonight. His game is so awkward and ugly, but he scores. His age, pure production and free throw shooting percentages are his biggest elevators atm.
