I get it, and I'd be happy to improve our draft position, but we need to infuse this team with more vets to instill winning habits. We have Marko, this years' second, Pat, Coby and Troy.

Yeah he doesn’t shoot from the outside but he can be a Mitchell Robinson type player for us. A good backup for Vucevic for years to come

Queta is one of the three potential 2nd Round Picks I really covet for the Bulls, along with Joe Wieskamp and Kessler Edwards out of Pepperdine. At the Combine Queta measured 6-11 1/4 without shoes, had the longest wingspan at 7-4", an the tallest vertical reach at 9-4.5". He has a high motor. He'd be an ideal rim runner defensive and rebounding anchor on the 2nd Team. His free throw shooting improved over his College career, and he shot 70.7% from the line this previous season. H'e's not going to give you much offensively other than put backs, but he can pass the ball a little, especially to spot up shooters. He made a really good impression at the Combine. Chad Ford say he might have played his way into the late 1st Round. Sam Vecenie listed Queta as one of the players who was most helped by his participation at the Combine, a list that also included Joe Wieskampb, Bones Hyland, Jericho Sims, and Quentin Grimes.

Drafting a rim-running rim protecting C in the 2nd is a good use of the pick, IMO.
I like Weiskamp with shooting and surprise athletecism, but I'm still rooting for my man Isaiah Livers, who reminds me of Levert (also from UofM) who was a first round talent who fell due to injury.

I would love to see Cooper in a Bulls uni but trading Coby is not the best way to ensure it happens.

It would probably be difficult to trade Coby with the recent injury. We might not know the success of his recovery for 4-6 months. That's too big a question mark for any team considering a trade deal with us with him included.

Any chance the bulls can maybe dump Sato and pick up an extra second round pick? I would like Sharife Cooper. Imo he already is a better player than Sato. I think he will be a decent player in his rookie year.

I get that you seem to not love Sato, but we gotta stop bringing in multiple inexperienced guys each year. I'm already worried about having Marko and our 2nd rounder on the roster. We're not a good enough team to give developmental minutes to multiple rooks and still make the playoffs. If we are using them for the g-league, then I'm all for it.

He'd be a good Draft and stash prospect IF we could obtain one or two more 2nd Round picks. The kid has talent. And some really good players have come to the NBA from France. But the kid isn't NBA ready at this stage. He's got length. He's got speed. He might become a hell of a Player. But there will be players available at #38 that might be able to help us sooner like Wieskamp, Queta or Kessler Edwards.

That's a shame. He kind of reminded me of a more athletic Noc.

From the highlights he looked athletic, strong, long and just super aggressive. He is still only 18. I think he is a prospect to look out for and I think he is going to make a name for himself in the NBA, most like the following season.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't play himself into a lock into the first round, possibly in the 20's. I really like him as a player, especially if he can get himself a decent 3 point shot.

He's either a hell of a rebounder or his big men stink at rebounding

Goodwin looks sort of interesting. A little slow and not a crazy athlete, but he's all wingspan. I was shocked when I found out he was 6"3" because he looks like he's 6'9" out there with those arms.

I still like Cooper who seems to be projected as a 2nd rounder. I think he's been underrated, but at the very least he gives us some point guard depth while Coby is recovering.

Shariffe Cooper? If he’s anywhere near our pick and AK doesn’t get him I’ll be furious.

I think Cooper will end up being a top 10 player from this draft. If there is any way to land him it’s a must do move.

Last season the Bulls average players age was 26.9, which ranked 10th oldest in the league. They aren't THAT young.

Also, when you look at the teams with the higher age averages, a lot of the teams that they have a lot of veterans that are chasing a ring. Which pushes up their average ages. An indication that the Bulls actually need to add MORE young talent.

Examples of players driving up age averages:
Lakers - Marc Gasol, Jared Dudley, Wesley Matthews
Miami - Udonis Haslem, Trevor Ariza

I'm all for exploring opportunities to purchase a second round pick. It wouldn't hurt to take a couple swings.

Will the Bulls re-sign Temple? What kind of contract does he command at 36?
