DeMar DeRozan free agency
so, where is everyone on DeMar's FA at this point? should the Spurs bring him back? if not, what's a good spot for him to land and what's a fair market price?

he isn"t going to the Lakers or the Nets unless he signs for the TP MLE. I had posters telling me he will get at least $20million a year which I think is too much. Maybe he signs with the Knicks or goes back to SA.

Re: DeMar DeRozan free agency
He makes sense on the Mavericks in terms of giving them another scorer so its not all Luka all the time. The only issue is he is an awful 3pt shooter, so that's not exactly in the Mavs model.
The Knicks could be good just to add some back court talent, the Hornets could use another scorer to rely on, and of course the Spurs should be a favorite due to him already being there and them having cap space. He just might not fit in with SA's timeline and due to them having a lot of talent with their backcourt and wing players already.

Re: DeMar DeRozan free agency
Teams will def want him. Maybe they'll do a S&T. I could basically see any contender being interested, playing the point has transformed his image from negative to potentially playing anywhere. Philly could use him if they ship SImmons, Lakers and Clippers would love him, Portland and Denver would be in it. The Heat and Mavs will look at him. Most would have to be sign and trades and I'm sure the Spurs would be happy getting a pick back.
Also depends what teams are willing to give him. I see a team like the Knicks or Heat throwing him 4 yr/100-110M deal. Maybe even more. Not a lot of free agents and everyone trying to get better now, he'll get a big offer from somewhere.

DeRozan is an elite mid-range shooter. And a pretty good facilitator.
Unfortunately, focusing on a mid-range game makes him a dinosaur.

Nets prob not, but the Lakers could send Kuz Harrell and a SRP to the Spurs to S&T DeRozan to them. Maybe around 3 yr/70M. Schroder is gone, let DeRozan run the point. I'm not sure if he's the best fit on this team, but it'll definitely be a consideration.
Clippers another team to watch out for, they can give him a similar contract and send Kennard, Rondo and a pick to the Spurs. He'd fit a lot better there.

I'm sure you just watched these finals. And you think the mid range is dead?

Demar DeFrozen?
Sure, yall can have him.
Hopefully we can fleece one of the desperate big market teams (Lakers, Knicks, etc) for a solid bench player and a handful of draft picks!
We are rebuilding anyhow for the future. Good young players.
I'd like to work something out with the Clips or Knicks. In all honesty.

My guess is going to Lakers via SnT for Kuzma.

VERY weird statement. Almost to the point I think he must be messing around. Literally three players in the finals dominated from midrange.

I think the Bulls might make a play-not sure S&T or try to sign him outright

Think he would be great on the Suns. How we get him is another issue

Pop likes Kuzma, Kuzma is a similar age to Murray, Spurs need a starting PF that can score. Seems to fit.
Doesn't mean it will happen, just a guess

So...Let's just list all the teams with absolutely no cap space to sign him?
K..

True. Good point.
