The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired Billy McKinney from the New York Mets for Minor League outfielder Carlos Rincon and cash.
The Mets acquired McKinney from the Milwaukee Brewers on May 25. He hit .220 with six doubles, a triple, five home runs and 14 RBI. He was designated for assignment on July 16.
New York also claimed right-hander Roel Ramírez off waivers from the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday.
