Aight, so you know what it feels like to go with your gut against the consensus. Anything negative that you say incites an angry lynch mob against you. Fultz is case study number one as to why it should be acceptable to critique these guys at the top who aren’t Zion level talents.

I see you in a lot of posts wondering why people are always arguing with you, specifically, about Cade.
It's because you have a view of him not based in reality. There isn't anybody claiming he is a perfect/flawless prospect, but when you are making claims that are pretty much universally disagreed with, of course people are going to disagree with you. You've repeatedly said Cade is boring (as if that actually means anything in evaluating a prospect), Cade is a bad leader who doesn't care about winning and only cares about stats and that he has terrible bball iq and bad footwork.
The majority of people that have watched Cade play would argue most of these areas are significant strengths of his, not major weaknesses.

I question the type of leader he can become. Would you want a guy with Andrew Wiggins personality rallying the troops in a high pressure situation?

Look at this posts he talks about his personality and says he stalks his instagram. Theirs so much scouting out there on Cade and talk with people who've played with him and nobody questions his personality. This dude watches his instagram and acts like he knows more then everyone about who he is as a person.

Looking at these guys social media accounts is part of the scouting process. If you don’t think that NBA teams are looking at their Instagram accounts you are out of your mind. Hell, most non NBA employers check out the social media accounts of prospective employees before they hire them.

2. Fultz is well bigger then Jalen and Suggs that’s not even a question. Watch the game highlights, bodied Lebron twice. His torso and wingspan is impressive even pre draft.

3. Which other Jalen? If it’s Johnson you may have to rethink what a guard actually is lol.

Against guards in the NBA Fultz still matches up very well. The combo aspect which was very very real at the time in College PG/SG, Young Age, Production, Ceiling is why Fultz was taken at 1.

I actually have invested a lot of time in scouting Cade’s online presence, and there are some things I’ve seen that I don’t like. These aren’t the kind of things that coaches & teammates are going to admit to. I don’t think a lot of other scouts have looked as deep as I have into this stuff. You can learn a lot from a guys social media accounts.

This is a very strange thread. Cade will be a positive impact player for the Pistons in his first year and will be leading them to the playoffs almost immediately. Perhaps he won’t be the best player in the draft but he’s basically a can’t-miss All-Star at the premier position; comparisons to Fultz and Wiggins are laughable.

Honest question, let's get some honest answers here, and then have a debate over those points.

you'll probably get more of that in the beginning of this thread and sprinkled throughout part 1 of the 2021 draft thread. All the legit concerns have pretty much been covered during the course of the season. We're now in the "down your guy to boost my guy" segment of the year.

Not a "Cade downer" But from this guy's perspective: Cade needs to tighten his handle and become as technically sound with the PnR as possible to alleviate some of the burst concerns and that will help his defensive manipulation. Continue to work on his 5 hour shots because that will be key to his scoring potential. I think all PGs at this level should have a go to floater, Cade adding that puts another layer and option to his hostage dribble. In terms of the turnover rate, the handle like was previously mentioned can get tighter under pressure and just deciding to take what he can without forcing things. For the glaring weaknesses and deficiencies that can be pointed to, most are rep based offsets. Putting the time in to improve on or add to his game dulls a lot of that noise IMO.
