Post-Mortem Results I: GM Confidence Meter

Post#1 » by ElectricMayhem » Thu Jul 22, 2021 12:19 pm

Thank you all for your participation in the RealGM Post-Mortem Series. This is the first segment of the result of the polls. The results are definitely not perfect. Some polls got nearly 100 respondents. Others, less than 10. That's definitely an issue. Still, you get a good general idea of how confident RealGM General Board posters were in the GMs of each team. The number represents the percentage of people who voted to keep the team's GM.

Other results in the series:
Post-Mortem Results II: Coaching Confidence Meter
Post-Mortem Results III: Performance Compared to Expectations
Post-Mortem Results IV: Rising/Treadmill/Waning
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

So happy that the Knicks are finally in a place where people trust what they're doing. Usually we'd be at the bottom of polls like this.
Go Knicks!

Kings are just a mess.... My sympathy goes to all the Kings fans suffering over the years.

I like the core of Halliburton and Fox. If they can move Hield for a better fit at the 3/4 or 5 then they might be able to start doing something. Ultimately it comes down to the team improving on defense and Marvin Bagley individually improving and staying healthy. That pick is gonna be what ruins this rebuild if he doesn't get better, he has the tools, he just needs to put it all together.
Go Knicks!

I wonder if the lack of faith in Portland's GM is a recent development. Some people have always complained about Olshey but it was never as big of a talking point until this year.

It should be noted that this took place before the Billups hire.

Rockets were lucky to keep their pick, lose that pick and there would be way less confidence in the gm

I understand the sentiment, but Houston's poll results predated the lottery.
