What Was The Worst 2-0 Blown Lead In 2021 Playoffs

Probably a toss up between Dallas (couldn't win a game at home whcih all they needed) & Utah (No Kawhi last 2 games). Irving injury and Harden injury + playing like crap probably gives Nets a pass. Suns/Bucks IMO was a toss up so not reallty suprised Bucks won 4 in a row.

Not BKN bc of injuries.
Not the Suns bc when the Bucks figured it out it just looked like they were more talented and dominant, nothing the Suns could do.
The Mavs one is tough, but they're young and just weren't that talented outside Luka.

The Utah one was bad tho. Their superstar looked unplayable. Clippers lost Kawhi. The series was their's for the taking. Snyder didn't make the right adjustments and Conley gave no help. IMO def the worst of the 4.

Dallas going 0-3 at home bothers me so much, but they were underdogs that took contenders to 7 so I'll forgive them

I gotta go with the Jazz. Kawhi was injured, you're the first seed, and you let Terrance Mann beat you. Probably the biggest letdown of the playoffs

Dallas was up 19 in 1st quarter of game 3, Clippers were shell shocked, Luka was subbed out, and they came back, was hit in that game and played injured in game 4, and the chance to take one at home was gone, they squeaked game 5 in LA, but games 6 & 7 they were outmatched, they managed to take 5 pt lead in the 3rd of gmae seven, Clippers shifted gear and closed the series.
so many what ifs in that series, but I think Utah losing to Kawhi-less Clippers game 5 and 6 was worse.

Easily the Jazz, if not for the sole reason that everyone and their mother who hates "super teams" and love small market success stories convinced themselves this was the Jazz's year. I was never convinced, because it's the Utah Jazz who are known for being a great regular season team, not actual contenders, especially not without a closer.

I don't even think the same fans wanted the Bucks to win simply because they have a legit superstar. Some of these fans won't be satisfied with the league until the Lakers are a decade-long lottery team and the Jazz vs Pacers is the finals matchup every year.

I understand Mitchell was playing injured and Conely too but there is always something missing with that team come playoff time. They blew a 3-1 lead to Denver last year too.

;t=19s

The jazz. We said for the entire regular season that teams would go small and gobert would be unable to punish them for doing so, and would be a liability, both things were true. What made it worse was watching giannis punish the suns when they went small. Rudy needs to get in the gym and stop trying to be a supermax role player, thats nonsense.

Definitely the Jazz because despite having the DPOY on their roster their defense got doused in gasoline and had a match dropped into it by a team that was missing their best player.

I keep saying this on every single thread about that Jazz Clippers series, but it wasn't offense that was the problem for the Jazz. The Clippers got easy shots against them whenever they wanted and made scoring against what's supposed to be a great defensive team look easy.

Probably the Nets versus the Bucks, they shouldn't have needed Kyrie or a non-decoy level Harden to beat the Bucks.

Freaking Jazz. They lose Kawih and we don't even win a game. That was pathetic and showed us this cast will never ever win a ring.

The offense is part of the defense. When a team goes small on a big, that big has to be able to play the small off the floor. somebody has to play somebody off. The only reason those lineups that teams run on them exist is because rudy cant drop 35-40 on 65 ts if you dont put a big on him. If you try to go big and take jokic out hes going to get 50 and 20 rebounds, and if you double hes going to make the right read. embiid, hell, even KAT if you try this its a foul a dunk and 70+ts because embiid will just foul that person out the game.

but yeah, you are right. They gotta stop thinking they have a good defense because they got rudy, they coulda made that same deal the nuggets made for gordon, they could go after dejonte murray nopw, he would help a lot if conley leave. they need more athleticism on defense. period. as a team, they just cant move fast enough on defense. if you put murray on this team, he would lead the league in steals every year off the panic passes rudy causes.

Phoenix. The collapse was bad.

Were there any adjustments?

Suns just played Bucks game where Bucks made it a contest mismatches between Giannis and Ayton.

Suns should have been up 3-1 on the Bucks. Booker had a historic night in game 4 but CP3 completely shat the bed.
