And all his fans act like they can relate to this guy. Lol

I've never heard any fan say that. Money aside he's a 6'8", 260 lbs super athlete, 99.99999% of the world population can't relate.

My question is...what the hell do you do with that much money.

Invest in eventually becoming a team owner once he retires.

This is 100% his plan. I wonder which team it'll be. Maybe he can get in on the expansion teams in Seattle and Vegas when they happen? Otherwise I wonder who are the poorest current owners in the league...

Funny enough, current Lakers owner Jeanie Buss "only" has a net-worth of $500 million. It's funny looking at that, and then looking at Dan Gilbert, owner of the small market Cavs, is worth $37 Billion.

Petty Responses? Retards? Dumpster Fire? Nobody hasn't even brought up the how older stars didn't have the opportunities LeBron had, the Decision, or Michael Jordan.

This thread is pretty tame.

Kinda weird that a lebron fans brought MJ into this
He made his money while not worrying that "republicans buy his shoes too".

Props

Then another one comes ohh poor lebron and us fans calling out something that isnt happening.

Lebron fans in ecstasy over their man's achievement...

I just googled it and Robert Sarver for the Suns checks in at 400M. I guess we know why LeBron was sniffing around the stadium the other night :o

Not just LeBron. Seems like young people nowadays do that with celebrities in general, which to me is just weird. Some of these guys pull in more money in a week than we do in 10 years. The days of us peasants being able to relate to them are long gone.

His fearlessness in going along with the popular narrative of the day is unmatched.

He's probably worth way more than that now. If he earned 1b, and probably got taxed 40% of that - still 600m, but he's had almost 17 years of investing his salary too...the SP500 has gone up 500% since LeBron entered the league. Not saying he 500%'d his money since obv he didn't have all that cash up front, but even if he invested "only" 30% of his earnings every single year, he's at a massive profit.

Yeah, I always go back to Herb Kohl and the Bucks. He bought the team in in the 80s at 20m and sold for $550m and everyone kind of held it against him that he made so much and was a cheap owner (He wasnt cheap, just spent it the wrong way). It was OMG what a investment but rather a very mediocre one before you factor in the operating losses the team had. People just do focus on the investments and return opportunities enough.
