Many people say that bigs aren't as valuable in the current NBA, but we did just see a 6'11" Giannis lead his team to a championship. And last year Anthony Davis had a great run to help the Lakers win a ring. Now I'm not saying that Mobley will reach their level, but when you can get the right big man it can make a huge difference for your team. Plus they're harder to come by than other positions.

The magic do you love them long bois, As a magic fan I would be really pissed off if we did the trade. I’m down to do it for green but definitely not mobley, big man or the valuable anymore in my opinion. We already wasted a high pick on Bamba

How many Centers do the Magic need? Lol.

id take Jokic/Embiid over everyone from Ewing on

To each their own I guess but I don’t see them being anywhere near most of them right now

Embiid has just been on 3 all NBA teams and 4x all star. His resume doesn’t touch any of those guys

Jokic at least has an MVP but still not enough to crack to top 10 yet

i mean yea from all time accomplishments no but I just think they are better than the guys I named. i think for sure both guys are top10 all time Centers in terms of talent/skill/peak.

Embiid has never played a full season yet, and he's been in the league for 7 years. He hasn't even reached 70 games.

Patrick Ewing has 6 seasons where he finished in the top 5 in MVP voting, in a period that featured Jordan, Magic, Bird, Malone, Hakeem, Barkley, and Shaq.

There was a rumor that the Knicks almost traded Ewing and picks for right to draft Shaq. Imagine if they'd done that....

Edit: it was 1996 and the guy who wanted to do it was fired.
