I think PJ would be fine with limited minutes during the regular season. It's all about the playoffs.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

On/Off numbers in the POs

Jrue (+15.2)
Giannis (+8.4)
Tucker (+7.7)
Middleton (+6.3)
Bobby (+4.3)
Donte (+0.9)
Brook (-0.2)
PatC (-1.9)
**********************
Forbes (-12.2)
Teague (-22.3)

We played better with Tucker on the floor. 3rd highest on-off. He will cost us $5-$7m. Yes, with luxury tax, that's more like $15m. But, if we can keep Tucker, that's 7 out of 8 playoff rotation players we keep. Only reason we didn't keep him is because our owners decided to be stingy. Another reason to sign him would be to use his salary in a trade if the situation ever arises.

We can only pay Bobby $5.9 at the most. He can probably get 4/40 somewhere. So, I expect Bobby's gone. And that's ok. The core of the team is here and we will get a few veterans who will want to come here.

Am I the only one that is worried about his ego might be a problem next year? Dude averaged 4/4/1 and 3.5 fouls in 31 minutes during the finals. I'm having trouble believing a 6'5" 36.5-year old PF with no-to-limited scoring is going to be productive for more than 15 minutes a game next year. Is he gonna accept that role? Maybe he does? But we havent been in that situation. He got 35 min on a championship team that was really thin. I hope we aren't that thin next year.

Also, it is so freaking cool to see the ring next to this year every time i look up a bucks stat on basketball reference.

We had to play him at SG basically after the Nets series, just having him take up those minutes so Teague or Forbes didn't was huge. I think he's got a good season in him as Giannis' small ball PF who occasionally guards big SFs. What we had him do out of necessity was wild.

It was wild and I wonder if it transformed his career once again. I’d rather have him be a SG/SF from here on out. With Jrue and Middleton, those guys can all switch 1-4. With Giannis, they were covering 1-5 pretty effectively.

Ideally I'd like him for 20 minutes a game off the bench while Giannis is playing C.

Best believe that Canada was all over the Bucks.

I have lost track of how many times the Raptors have beat the Bucks over the years in the playoffs to be honest. Enjoy your title.

You're about to lose track of how many years the Raptors are going to be irrelevant.

The hatred that Skip Bayless has for Giannis is palpable. He cant stand the guy, and you can tell that it really eats away at him that he's proved everyone wrong.

I see today he says that Giannis is just gloating now, and he's sick of seeing him everywhere and it's time that he pulls his head in.

I just wanted to say how insane it is how everyone has embraced the Bucks. I've always loved the bucks and was disappointed/sad in the past how so few cared about them, especially other parts of Wisconsin. In college, I remember wearing bucks gear when we drafted Yi and the only time anyone ever engaged me about the bucks was when some Chinese students said something.

When fear the deer started years ago, we actually had some energy in the fanbase. I always thought that if we could go on any run in the playoffs, Milwaukee and Wisconsin would embrace the team, just how they did with the brewers after their rebrand and miller park. I never imagined what happened in the deer district and at the parade would ever be possible. I've just been really happy. This has been beyond my wildest dreams how amazing everyone has been. It just makes it so much sweeter with the great stories our players have, and how we have a genuinely amazing person as our superstar. We are incredibly lucky to have such great people to cheer for in the bucks and brewers. Lastly, mike dunleavy can suck it. I wish he was invited to the celebration in some cruel prank on him.

Everybody knows he's a joke, though. Most of these talking heads, even the bad ones, you can probably think of a time they were right about something. Not Skip. His existence is only justified by being as wrong as possible as loudly as possible. There is no earnest audience for him.

Skip Bayless is a character. His goal isn't to be correct, it's to get attention and drum up conversation. He wants you to watch him and then go to your friends and say "did you hear what Skip Bayless said?" And he's excellent at it.

"Water?! Who wants water?! Giannis was drinking water? Oh sure, you might see your teammate, who you think is your friend, drinking a cold bottle of Aquafina. But do you know? Do you realize? IT'S JUST FOR SHOW. Your supposed teammate, who is supposed to have your back, is drinking water to show you up for drinking Gatorade. It's true---hold on, don't interrupt---it's true. You've got LeBron, the best and worst player of all time, drinking Gatorade, and here is Giannis drinking WATER?! RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM?! The gall of this kid. Who does he think he is?! Finals Champion MVP? Puh-lease. He'll be lucky to average 8/4 next year."

I think these guys are actually really really good at their jobs, and it always surprises me when people think that their job is to be serious. They are clearly playing roles, they are entertainers, and very good ones at that IMO.

There are plenty other pods and videos for serious basketball discussions, and they are often equally bad with their takes LOL
Which is a bit sad because they're not even entertaining.

I think the serious basketball analysis is done in places that can't reach with data that we don't have, so we're stuck with the entertaining clowns. Could be worse, could be nothing at all. Imagine being into snooker or windsurfing for example.

I thought Skip also had a reputation as a pretty good writer before blowing up like this.

Anyway. Happy Saturday, Champions.

Anyone have any idea when these usually come out?

Don’t be surprised if they don’t release one. They didn’t for the Lakers last season (and you know if they thought they could make $ on one it would have been the Lakers). More niche physical media releases are becoming less frequent.

The best we might get is a doc on Bally Sports WI or NBA TV. At least I’ve been able to find full game commerical free HD rips of all the playoff games to save.
Link or it didn't happen.
