that's not a great trade for the knicks. its a lateral move.

GSW aren't trading Wiseman, and be left with no center.

I would think about trade Randle if we get a massive overpay.

But I dunno the Front Office and coach staff will cogitate.

Unless a team is willing to overpay for randle, I'd rather hold on to him for now.

Wiseman and lottery picks is what it'd take for me.

GSW are looking to win now. Also randle is a plus, as the NBA learned after this last season.

I'm in the rebuild camp. But you don't give up a strong piece for a small package

I wouldn't even hesitate to pull that trigger. We would turn incredibly young and the whole roster would fall into place. If we can't land two top talents, which I don't think we can, we aren't really getting anywhere atm. Randle won't turn into Giannis and the greatest sophomore ever also won't.

For GSW, they could play Randle with Green and sub in Looney if they'd need more size.

It's still not happening. Lonzo Ball will probably, but it would be beyond pathetic to go from Dame, Beal, Kawhi, Sexton, M. Turner or maybe McCollum, Kemba, DeRozan, LaVine or whatnot to such a low level player as Lonzo is.

They were champions with cheap centers like McGee, Bogut, West, Pachulla, Bell, Jones, Ezelli. They still have Kevon, Besides, Randle and Dray can play as Centers.

None of whom can play center over a whole season. The Wiseman talk is never going to happen.

one problem with GSW that not enough ppl realize is that they are over the cap.

they cant just say "ok we will trade for Myles Turner for Wiseman"

they need to balance the contracts or find a team with capspace.

we've got 60m+ of capspace.

it would be a huge mistake not to entice someone like Dinwiddle for a 1 year tryout. 1yr/15-20m if he has anything on the table from another team.

it would not stop us from acquiring max contracts, signing UFAs, or anything else long term.

They could pull a Myles for Wiseman + Looney + Garry Payton or Myles + Warren/Brogdon for Wiggins.

Spencer could be a good option. But his 41/31/78 shooting in his best season is not very exciting. The problem with one-year deals is the lack of continuity. If he plays well, we can't afford a raise and he walks.

GSW would have to include Wiiggins for the salary work.

I would too. Both of them would fit better next to RJ, Randle, and Rose.

Would getting pick #7 from GS and choosing Davion Mitchel be better than Lonzo, Reggie Jackson or anyone else for pG that we could get? Could we work a Wiseman plus #7 for Mitch? (throw in Knox if they'll take him). Or even Obi?

None of those actually. Reggie is cool, but wrong direction.

I meant it as Combo guards who can shoot and get their own offense

God damn Knicks we sucked for years but decided to be good (but blown out in playoffs anyway) in a Cade draft. We should have been in position of Rockets, talking with Pistons for #1, if not in position of Pistons itself.

It took Rockets just 0.5/ half season after trading Harden to land a top 2 pick in a meaningful awesome draft. It took Warriors just 1 season (right after a dynasty) to land a top 2 pick (Wiseman).

On other hand, we sucked for DECADES and couldn't land a top 2 pick to save our lives.

Please look at blueprint of other teams' success and copy and paste it, ffs.
