As it was explained to me, if they aren't in the sim and therefore not eligible to be used in a game, they don't count against your exempt list limit but of course their salary does count.

Unless the sim doesn't add Vildoza this year, KJ, Luca, and Deck will be activated by week 1.

got it. I'm an OG and still the exempt list is like the unknown zone to me :lol:

i've had a few other GMs try to make deals with me that involved the EL. i would do them if i understood it too :lol:
