Re: 2021 Draft
GoK - You should make a new thread, but make each post short. Your GoK Draft thread.
First post in thread:
Then in each post after that, you can post measurables, stats and short writeups for one prospect in the list in each post after that.
Obivously just a suggestion but I know you like to study and write a lot about these guys, but I think a clear concise list followed by one post highlighting each prospect in the list would get a lot more people reading than wall texts about various guys and then multiple videos of different prospects. It's too much time for people to invest. This way people may go through 1-2 prospects a day for the next 7-8 days.
First post in thread:
Top 3 (or 5) primary ball handler prospects hopefully available at 29.
(List) - just names
Top 3 (or 4/5) big prospects hopefully available at 29.
(List) - just names
Top 3 other players to consider (anything from backup SGs, premier defending wings, traditional PF types, etc.)
Then in each post after that, you can post measurables, stats and short writeups for one prospect in the list in each post after that.

Re: 2021 Draft
Ayo Dosunmu feels like the most likely to develop into a starter of the guards that might be around there to me. He's more combo guard than traditional point guard, but some time under CP3 would help mature his floor game. I'd also be interested in Cam Thomas or Jared Butler (now that he's cleared), but it seems more likely that they'll be gone.
I also like Day'Ron Sharpe and Neemias Queta as bruiser backup big men. Sharpe actually has pretty solid mobility despite 6'11" 265 pounds, and he's supposedly been shooting the ball well in workouts. I like Quetas shot blocking, physicality, and energy, and he's shown solid improvement since starting at Utah State.
I do think we might be better suited finding a veteran big man in free agency and drafting on the perimeter though. Tough to expect a rookie big man to step into the NBA's physicality right away, and we'd have some time to develop a guard.

My dream scenario would probably be Butler in the draft and Nerlens Noel with part of MLE...maybe just a year with team option...can give him more money to maybe get that option.
I would love Queeta, but not sure about the PG in that situation. I think we need a young guy to groom for future, but not sure who might be available of young guys...teams don't typically let those guys go. Payne was a lucky strike...not sure we can have that happen twice.
I brought up Ayo long ago, so he'd be a nice option too.
If we did draft Queeta we couldn't likely hope for a PG on a rookie contract who gets dropped and might still make money (like say, a Fultz because they have Cole...but they likely keep both anyway).
But a G leaguer a team gave up on...that we think our culture helped...like a Payne...a guy we get for cheap..like a minimum with team option.

Yeah I think Ayo, Butler, or Thomas with some like Noel in FA would be great. We need young blood at the guard spots with CP3 not getting younger. Reclamation projects are an option, but Payne is more the exception than the rule.

After what Giannis did to us in the finals, And his archetype being very rare! I'm going to once again promote this prospect, Who I truly believe has the greatest potential to actually become Giannis 2.0 His measurables and his talent as well as his accomplishments at Shawnee state are otherworldly!

1- He's longer than Giannis.
2- He's just as athletic and fluid as Giannis.
3- His wingspan is actually 7'8, Not 7'6.
4- He's a 40% 3 or shooter on solid volume.
5- He's a prolific shotblocker with his absurd length.
** He's basically a Giannis clone.
He's going to need some development and further seasoning to his game, But I'd argue he's even worth an investment with our 29th pick with his projection honestly being very comparable to Giannis. And that worked out quite well for the bucks obviously.

Trade up for him in the second round then! Go all in!

I wouldn't mind him at all. He's a bigger point too at around 6'5 I think but I'd be happy to grab him at 29.

He's not top of my list. But I wouldn't mind him as long as he really works on his shooting and cuts down on his turnovers. I believe he had like a 24% turnover rate. He's definitely got potential though. Love his size and strength. He just struggles at times making tough passes. But I do believe he'll be able to improve with time. I think the Kendall Marshall / Andre Miller comps are a fair comparison

Yeah this is based of us still getting at least 1 more great year from Paul. But if that were the case then Dix has potential and once he learns how to shoot better and cut his turnovers down he'd be pretty good. Like cberry said he's young and would be only around 22 once Chris retires 3 years from now. That would be more than enough time to learn the ins and outs of the game via a degree from Paul University.

I did a quick research and I could not find any prospect saying that he did a workout for the Suns.
Any info about that? Some name?
