Very interesting to here everyone’s opinion since the game is so much different. You guys are even allowed to use players that play in Europe

The way you worded that it’s as if you think someone outside the NBA would be a top 5 player if not for the current rule set. Surely I must be misreading that.

Well the top International guys like Giannis and Jokic would still be great since they grew up playing with the Fiba rules

Except people say Giannis is an average player for Greece

Luka probably jumps from being Nr. 5-6 in the world currently, to Nr.1, right? Or am I wrong?

Kawhi would be near the top. His game is would excell even more due to his defensive prowess and his offensive skill set is pristine.

Big men like Giannis, Embiid, and Jokic would dominate with the rule of any ball being live after it touches the rim. Those three would definitely still be in the top 5.

Probably curry. Luka, jokic because it’s harder to abuse him on defense,kd for the versatility amd then kawhi because with the added physicality he would become the best defender in the world again. Curry would be one, but the rest is in no order. Lebron giannis wouldn’t have the space. Embiid harden would get a lot of offensive fouls. Dame would struggle to finish. Tatum is too weak physically.

So this is what we're doing now huh, blaming the rules which are exactly the same as they were from 2008 to 2016?

Its funny because after 2016 is when the product really went down the toilet and its only gotten progessively worse each season.

Whoever you consider to be the top 5 NBA players now. They would adjust.

Mostly this, but I think there could be some small movements here and there. Like others said, someone like Giannis could find the FIBA game a worse match for his skills.
