Do you have to waive a player who will get out of the league? Would he not enter in the exempt list automatically?

correct if a player retires or isn't on an NBA roster you can exempt list him. Its not automatic though unless they are no longer in the game.

Apologies for the delay, everyone. I just wrapped up a 4 hour drive. I was really hoping I was on the clock before I started it so I could submit my pick.

The pick seemed like a no brainer as far as value goes and might need to make a trade or two after it’s announced

The Detroit Pistons have agreed to trade JaMychal Green to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Nemanja Bjelica.

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to trade Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to the Atlanta Hawks and Nemanja Bjelica to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for JaMychal Green.

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade Cody Zeller to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to acquire Cody Zeller.

That trade worked out pretty well for you. I had looked at Atlanta but Zeller didn't work for me positionally. You reaped the due diligence benefit of finding a partner for him.

SIM Zeller was pretty good for me last year. Even did pretty well when Drummond was out.

I just think KCP will be much easier to flip post-free agency/during the season.
