After 2-3 weeks of rumors and reading some of your garbage comments, we should finally realize that
1. Knicks is not receiving Sexton because they will not give Obi and/or 2 FRPs for him.
2. Knicks tried packaging all picks this year to move up but seems like 12-14 picks is not worth it because the players available in that range are not sure starters in NBA.

So is there any hope?

It seems we got too much hype with William Wesley on board. So as a fan base I think people feel he should be able to pull a dame plus a second star in to pair with randle. But I’m hoping Leon rose goes for a smaller move like brogdon from the pacers while keeping RJ,IQ,OBi and Mitch. And then we trade up for bouknight.

We don’t know yet if they got a trade organized or not. A lot of smoke screens this year, more than normal because I think this draft is thought highly of.

What about Dejounte Murray from San Antonio, any idea if the Spurs are shopping him? They have no reason to be, but it would be great if they were

He’ll be 25 in September, he’s a two-way player and criminally underrated. I’d much rather the Knicks trade for him than Sexton, but that’s just a matter of personal preference:
- 6’4 with a 6’10 wingspan versus 6’1 for Sexton
- obviously comes from a top-notch organization
- just seems like an all-around better building block than Sexton and other names we hear tossed around as trade/FA candidates (LaVine, Ball, etc)

Absolutely. Look what a difference Rose made and he was just coming off the bench while Payton continued to start. If we had either Murray or Brogdon starting with Rose continuing to come the bench as 6th man, that would be a huge improvement. Plus, splitting the time equally between Malcom and Derrick saves both of them in terms of load management.

Bouknight would be tremendous but where is he getting picked? I'm reading top 10, easily.

For what we need, I'd rather go for Derrick White over Murray.

Either the Knicks have nothing going on, or they've asked Woj to be silent and then he'll get to drop the bomb. The CAA thing is actually true, as WOJ generally wrote hit pieces about the Knicks, but after Rose/WWW got hired, it's been generally positive.
He's on the payroll\inside. Which I think was always a Woj thing. If not literally taking cash, at the least he traded access for favorable write ups.
