A non-staggered CJ/Brogdan backcourt scares me defensively. Brogdan would be awesome off the bench ala what Dinwiddie should’ve been for the Nets last year. I’d be down with keeping Thybulle.

Probably send #28 or Milton to Indy in the above deal and use the MLE on Batum or Porter.

I can't imagine the Pelicans would even consider that, and if they would I don't know why the Pacers would bother to involve us.

Why would the Pelicans trade Ingram for Turner and the 13? What a poorly thought out trade.

Many speculated that David Griffin was leery about giving Ingram a max. Many assume they retained him to visit a trade down the line.

At this point, I'll be shocked if we don't land either Dame or Beal in a Ben trade. So few contenders with the assets to acquire either (outside of GSW).

If Beal can remember how to give a damn on defense, he's a near-perfect fit here. Also has the benefit of being 4 years younger than Dame, albeit not quite the shooter or as good off the dribble.

MIN out: Rubio, Culver, McDaniels, 2022/2024 FRPs
MIN in: Simmons

PHI out: Simmons, Hill, Maxey, 2023/2027 FRPs

^swap Milton for Maxey. I understand us having to add a pick or two to get Beal, but I don't think we need to add any more to beat other offers. If this offer isn't enough it is because MIN is getting Simmons way to cheap.

The only team I see potentially beating our offer is Golden State. Wiseman, Wiggins, #7, #14, and a future FRP trumps the above package IMO.

Yeah, I could see that. I am not super high on this draft, and I didn’t see much of wiseman to weigh in on whether any of those pieces actually add up to one legit difference maker like Simmons, but I definitely see the allure.

Taxpayer mid level exceptions, according to Noah Levick

Portis
Bullock
McDermott
Mills
Harrell
Olynyk

The obvious one here is Mills especially after seeing him ball for Australia

This is good. Agree with foshan, just replace Maxey with Milton

Rubio is a non starter. He's Ben minus the height and the defense.

Definitely want Portis as the MLE. Good call, Dnt hate.

I think there's a potential framework between us, OKC, and Toronto.

OKC out: Shai
OKC in: #4, #28, 2023 PHI FRP

PHI out: Simmons, Milton, #28, 2023 FRP
PHI in: Lowry (S&T), SGA, Boucher

TOR out: #4, Lowry (S&T), Boucher
TOR in: Simmons, Milton

Lowry/Maxey/Hill
Shai/Curry/#50
Thybulle/FA/Joe
Harris/Boucher/Tolliver
Embiid/Howard/Reed

Can’t do S&T on draft day, I think the space between the picks and being able to trade would undo a deal. No Lowry on draft day

Toronto would just take Shai for themselves. Better than Simmons. More time of control than Simmons. Fan favorite due to him being candian.

Trade 1: Ben Simmons for Jimmy Butler

Trade 2: Tobias Harris (to 3rd team) for Kyle Lowry (S&T) + Chris Boucher

Lowry/Maxey/Hill
Curry/Milton/Joe
Butler/Thybulle/#28
Boucher/Reed/Tolliver
Embiid/Howard/#50

3-4 year title run window. Maxey slowly takes over for Lowry. Butler fades at age ~35.
