The trades are basically FA. Teams aren't going to trade their star somewhere they don't want to be anymore. You gotta make the list...

They are demanding 90/3 contracts when they have like 70 years old. It's a very risky deal.

We can’t get stars if we keep drafting **** prospects who teams with stars wouldn’t want in exchange.. looks like having good prospects is more important than ever since these players repeatedly ask out before their contracts are up nowadays

I don't think we're being forced into anything just yet, in either direction. AAll we are hearing is rumors of guys wanting to stay with they collective teams... we've heard that before.

Also building thru the draft could be the plan all along but if you can accelerate the contending process you try and take it.

It's why some of us wanted to tank this year. It would've been nice to have one of the top 6 guys from this draft. Instead we will draft 36 yr old Chris Duarte.

I mentioned this a few months ago but we really should be aiming for 2023 FA. It will be led by Booker, KAT, and Jaylen Brown. We really should be asset collecting the next 2 years. I wouldn't mind taking on Wiggins' contract for the 7th pick. It expires in the summer of 2023.

We don’t even need to tank. Just make better choices where ever you land at. So many teams have done exactly that and succeeded without blatantly tanking year after year
