Same.. I’m guessing us being in the East is a major plus for Portland. Last thing they wanna do probably is trade him in conference and have to see him more times per year. But then a team like Philly can over more in the way of remaining a competitive team for the Blazers. Maybe they’re looking for more of a rebuild/tank friendly return if they do move on from Dame

If blazers trade Dame, they will and rightfully so go full rebuild and want picks and young players, sixers might have better younger players but not the picks, and of course would not want any part of Simmons

On the Lillard front I’m just wondering what realistically is gonna change for him between now and the next week. And will it hold the Knicks up from making roster moves because they’re waiting on him

Man I really hope we don't trade everything for Lillard. I think it would be another big mistake to add to the Knicks resume. Hoping this regime has more patience than those in the past.

On Portland's front:

Not in same conference (For twitter GM's this doesn't matter, but ownership and FO's do care about this)
Everything we give them will be cost controlled (No taking on SImmons/WIggins/Schroder etc.) albatross
Pick heavy package which buys Olshey more time at his job
If we're at or near the top of his list as reported then it buys them good will with agents and other stars they may draft down the line

On Dame's front:

Gets out of the West where he's been tortured for years
A team on the rise with an established good coach for guards
Being in NY will not hurt his rap career or business ventures lol
