Lillard and Randle are good starts. Get DeFrozen/DeFumble/DeTurnover/DeFenseless out of here. By the way, Raps fans coined those names first.

Re: Post, discuss all NYK rumors, tweets, articles, hearsay
Henry Abbott of TrueHoop reported on Friday, July 16th that Damian Lillard was planning on requesting a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers in the near future and the reporter offered additional insight in another post just two days before the draft.
During a dinner featuring several of Lillard's Team USA teammates in Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 14th, Lillard "complained most memorably" about his situation. Lillard shared the insight that he thought the situation with the Blazers was getting worse and he was considering demanding a trade with a percentage of 75/25. Lillard estimated that he was 25 percent likely to demand a trade that Friday.
Lillard's comments made their way around the league and eventually to Abbott, who reported the story. Trade offers to the Blazers began to arrive and Lillard spoke to the media Friday evening denying reports that he wanted a trade. But Lillard also expressed how he wanted to see immediate improvement from the Blazers.
Sources tell Abbott that Lillard is willing to forgo paychecks if he decides he wants a trade from the Blazers and the franchise doesn't oblige him. Lillard will also try to influence what team he ends up playing for.

Lillard and Randle as your 2nd and 3rd best players gets you into chip contention. we'd have no idea how to get that #1 guy to actually win a chip. obviously it ain't derozan.

Is that the rumor? Is the 4th year a team option? In any event, a very tradeable contract, don't you think? I mean, look what Bobby Portis did for the Bucks.

4/40 for someone who fits well into thibs system as a starter or a sixth man is actually a good price

No idea whats wrong with 17 a game but ok.
Regardless a sf/ sg that can shoot, play defense and doesnt need the ball in his hands to be effective is quite valuable. 10 million is a bargain for such a player. Cant swing for the stars on every signing the knicks make

If shot is not falling he has nothing else to contribute.
4/40M seems over pay.
2/16M would be the max.

3/27 would be a movable contract as long as his level of play stayed the same. Either in a trade for a star or a pick.
Ideally they would want a contract they felt they could move if a star wanted to come in FA in 2022 and they needed the space.
The only real concern would be if you thought last year was a fluke

I'm not giving a 4 year deal to a 3D SF that should be replaceable with a MLE or rookie.
Reggie doesnt playmake and isn't a difference maker on a team that needs scoring and playmaking from the PG SG SF position. Reggie's production is worth way more to a team that already has #1 and #2 pieces where he isn't asked to do anything but camp a 3pt line. His production to Boston or PHI is way way way more valuable than NYK.
this team has no primary ball handler that can create, run the pnr, or playmake
so, yeah, signing Reggie is actually stupid from NYK perspective because it locks up a roster spot and closes off more options for actually getting a pg sg or sf that can be a #1 for the team.
LMFAO Reggie Bullock a 6th man. Ok buddy. 3pt line camper that occasionally runs a 2man game with Randle is our 6th man. hahahahahaha sorry that's just sad/

Wait a second. Isn't there a CBA provision where you can go over the cap to sign your player but we have to wait until a certain date ... or something like that.
Look, if the 4th year is a team option and the 3rd year has a buy-out provision, then the contract looks a whole lot different, right?

Reggie seems like a good guy, but I woudnt pay 10-15m to a guy that plays strictly from range and coudnt go downhill
