Read on Twitter

Found out today I've got to go to a function during basically the entire draft, so I'll have to catch updates on my phone periodically :banghead:

Perkins being on the ESPN broadcast makes me feel a little bit better about not being able to watch it live, guaranteed he has done zero research on any of the guys outside the top 3-4.

And after that and the thought about ceiling I'm already coming back around on Bouknight lol. Really just kind of content with any of the group.

I don’t know. Sam has said he doesn’t know. Tim Connelly said they got lucky with Jokic. The only people that think they know are the people that post on the draft board and argue with each other.

Wish they could find a way to get Suggs but seems very unlikely.

How high of an upside do you see with Moody and Wagner?

That Kevin Pelton piece on Moody indicates he had one of the best per minute averages in a major category (points I think) in his EYBL league. I'm not 100% but I think Cade was in that same league. So that's something.

After reading Pelton's piece and reviewing the recent Pelton rankings posted in this thread I feel like I'm out on Bouknight. I'd rather have Moody or Kuminga.

The numbers are what keeps holding me back on Bouknight. But at the same time, his freshman year when healthy was promising and I don't know if Moody scales up very well, I kinda think Wagner might do that better but not sure. Kuminga just feels like a massive question, he was really rough. Every one of these guys I can talk myself into or out of. Think right now I'd go:

Any of Wagner/Moody/Bouknight (probably that order), then Barnes, then I might even lean Giddey before Kuminga but I get the upside argument too.

Yeah, Pelton has Giddy as like the 5th ranked prospect. He's over Suggs at 6 and Barnes at 13.

Giddey is one my favorite prospects but I'm not sure he's gonna be a nice fit next to Shai.

Kind of weird...OKC went from "gone dark" to the most active team in the league. Guess just rumors based on the idea that Presti has a lot of picks and would love to move up (probably true, just don't know how bad he wants that)

I trust the ESPN guys 100X more than Ford. I imagine we (and everyone else trying to move up) were incredibly active up until a couple days ago, and now we'll wait until tomorrow to put our final offers on the table.

He included in that same article that we might be looking to move Shai so we don't have to pay him..WHEN WE ARE STRUGGLING TO HIT THE SALARY FLOOR. But don't worry I'm sure he'll edit that part out when we max SGA during the offseason.

I have two pet peeves as of lately. The first is overuse of the word “generational” with every good player. The second is the fear of the max contract to players the clearly deserve it.

So basically cavs reporters : we are willing to trade for Sexton and we are making big offers for Mobley.

No idea how we can be both. Just hope the Mobley rumor is the real one even if Cleveland probably says no :(

Stupid question : the fact that Mobley's agent is SGA, Dort and Westbrook's agent as well could be helpful? Probably not a deal maker but could push Presti to go after his guy and tell Cleveland he wants Mobley in OKC. Doesn't mean Cleveland has to agree though :)

I agree with Alex Spears when it comes to Sexton. I think he's underrated but I don't want him on OKC.

This is too much for me. His favorite team is OKC, he's friend with SGA, same agent as SGA/Dort/Westbrook, we badly need a talented big like him. Just pay the price Presti. Gonna hate Cleveland rrrrrrrrrr

we already got enough bad luck in the lottery. Give Cleveland the picks they want and we can build a nice squad.

You are significantly overvaluing Kemba.
