A just for fun exercise to see more clearly what pool of players Pacers are looking at if they keep #13.
So by process of elimination as a group let’s post the players we believe are definitely going to be gone before the Pacers pick.
I’ll start us off by doing the easiest no duh picks.
Gone no matter what team picks1-4.
Cade Cunningham
Jalen Green
Evan Mobley
Jalen Suggs
So now who has a feeling for any prospects definitely gone between 5-12th picks based on talent or need and what team has targeted someone.

Re: Draft pick by elimination
Def agree with 1-4. The only other guys I feel strongly will be gone before us are:
Scottie Barnes
Jonathan Kuminga
James Bouknight
Franz Wagner
Josh Giddey
I think Sengun will be gone ahead of us, but I can see a draft board that falls that he slides.

Are you thinking Sacramento is Wagner’s destination ? I’m in agreement on Barnes, Kuminga, and Bouknight being taken. Giddey not sure who grabs him ?

Sacramento, Memphis, and San Antonio all make a ton of sense in terms of needing a young 2 way big wing. I’ve even seen remarks of GS taking him.

Re: Draft pick by elimination
This leaves the following prospects
Davion Mitchell
Corey Kispert
Kai Jones
Usman Garuba
Chris Duarte
Keon Johnson
Alperen Sengun
Jalen Johnson
Ziaire Williams
Trey Murphy III
Any thoughts if anyone will not be available at #13 of these remaining prospects ?

I doubt Sengun and Ziaire are still on the board. my prediction is Mitchell falls and we don't take him and I throw things.

I’m happiest if we get Mitchell or make a trade out of #13 getting a veteran that can play now and contribute defensively plus any other assets. I’d take Duarte or Trey Murphy III. Otherwise I’ll be upset if they trade back and the payoff isn’t worth having to pick later as the talent becomes much harder to hit on play now players which we need. We’ve already got two second round developmental picks in this draft.

I'd use one to replace Brimah on a two-way and the other on a Euro-stash.
