With a lot of teams having their sights set on Kyle in free agency or via a sign and trade, is this an opportunity to maximize the trade value of Fred?

Based on Kyle's reported asking price, Fred arguably has higher value due to being cheaper and younger.

There may be greater flexibility and opportunity by resigning Kyle and dangling Fred.

Yeah I've said this for a while as well. I like Fred a lot but I would see what we could get for him on the market.

I wouldn't be openly shopping him but I'd listen to offers.

Lowry is 99% gone. I just hope we utilize our cap space somehow to acquire another player. Should be a lot of opportunities. Trade is the viable route.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

If we draft Suggs then this is 100% the route I would take. I’d much prefer if Lowry mentors Suggs and passes the torch

Then look to see what Orlando would give up for Fred.

StopIt....that's too funny. Fred isn't worth the #5 pick

No. We need Frad a lot more than we need Kyle at this point. This is absolutely not happening.

I think this upcoming season is going to dictate the direction of the "core" guys on this team who are on the wrong side of 25.

If a season at home with some relative health and proper facilities yields a stronger result then I would imagine FVV and Siakam hang around but if this team isn't then you start to see what you can get around the league. Both guys are on the books for a while so its not a huge rush to unload them immediately.

I dont know what Masai is going to do with the 4th, but he has to find a way to get another pick in the 9 to 13 range and grab Josh Giddey. Dont care how it happens. He reminds me a lot of Lamelo. Not as flashy, but Giddey is going to be a stud.

apparently deni Avdija may be available in trade for immediate help.

From what I saw of him, he didnt seem very interesting to me, but people around the league still speak highly of his upside.

anything to see here, is he worth a look, and what do you think he would cost us?

Isn't he exactly the kind of player who tends to get traded for the 5th pick? Not quite all-stars like Jamison, Devin Harris, Antonio Davis, and an older Ray Allen? Kind of feels like draft picks are even more valuable today, so I obviously wouldn't expect it to happen, but FVV did get some love as an all-star snub last year while he's still seen as a huge reason why we were able to win it all.

I think considering he was taken 9th overall last year;
The Wiz will likely command a lot more than I think we should be willing to trade.

The issue with Devi is I was promised a guy who could guard 2 thru 4 with great rebounding and very strong passing;
He delivered on the rebounding but aside from that I am not see the potential translate to on court ability.

This isn't a situation where he didn't get any burn, he played 54 games and started 32 of them playing a similar amount of total minutes to guys like Cole Anthony, Immanuel Quickley, and LeMelo Ball.

I think there may be some potential to further develop him but he hasn't looked great so far, if they want both seconds I would do it?

With the report of what the sixers wanted from the warriors for Simmons I hope Morey is blackballed cuz that's just disrespectful to other GMs. I would offer 2 second round picks and make sure all GMs offer the same just to say Fcuk Off

I think the Lowry ship has sailed. PHX’s success really screwed us. Now middling teams like NOP and NYK are going to think Lowry is the missing piece and are driving his price up to unrealistic levels. 2/50 might have made sense for us but I don’t want to be holding the bag on a 3/90+ deal Lowry might get now.

I’m not opposed to moving FVV though. If the FO thinks Suggs is more PG than SG, maybe we move FVV, re-sign Trent to start at SG and go from there. Suggs doesn’t have tremendous SG size but does have a strong defensive rep.

Read on Twitter

Reddish is available, looks like Hawks are trynna sell high. Only 21 with 2 years left on a rookie contract and he looked pretty good during the playoffs. His RS splits are bad but I wouldn't mind getting him for cheap if possible

I was hoping for Joshual Primo in the 2nd round but Spurs scooped him up a lot higher than I thought . Good for him and Canadian basketball.

Our trade history in last 2.5 yrs is pretty pathetic. Can't even acquire 2nd picks for cash. Time to question the front office.
