sure the 12 year old boy could be called Greg though I don't think Greg is a common name for that age group. If you are talking about Abbott, that would be Henry not the TX governor.

LA teams and Boston looking at Rubio
Dame and Abbott going at it on twitter like KD and any 12 year old boy.

Something may happen. Also, something may not happen. But when something does happen remember that I told you about it first. And if it doesn't happen, well, I told you about that too.

Is DeRozans market that soft?

If the Lakers move KCP/Trez/#22 for Hield

Then traded Kuz/Gasol for DeRozan, what is the max they could pay him in that scenario? Does Demar want a title that bad?

The direction for Lakers is hard-capped or not hard-capped:

Hard-capped: DDR (SnT), trade #22 for multiple SRPs

Not hard-capped: Hield and Westbrook trades, keep #22

Lakers keep Caruso, THT regardless and lose Schroeder and Kuzma and Harrell regardless.

Sounds like the Lakers are offering #22 in the trade for Hield.

That would be possible but unlikely. Harrell opting ok probably screwed them up s bit though. Before it was Kuzma and salary savings. Now it's Kuzma and Harrell

I saw 12 year old boy and my first thought was Greg.

Starting to get way offtopic so will let it end here.

The Lakers would trade down from #22 for multiple second round picks with some in the future, then send some of the future seconds to the Spurs in the DDR Sign & Trade?

Nah, they'd trade down #22 for SRPs on this draft to save money on players. Can get 3 SRP players for same price as 1 at #22. That will be important if they are hard-capped.

So no pick compensation to San Antonio for doing the Sign & Trade. Just moving contracts around would be the trade.

Unlikely, Kuzma would be the prize for the Spurs. They've liked him for a while and have a hole at starting PF. They will try to fill it with Collins in FA but Kuzma is a good guy to have in case that fails. They also need a backup PF

Not thrilled at all about the prospect of adding Kuzma, but sadly beggers can't be choosers and assuming Rudy walks in free agency Spurs have only 1 PF on the roster, so I guess he fills a need at the very least. Really hoping the Spurs go hard at Collins when FA begins

They will go hard, it's up to Hawks to match though.

If Morey keeps it up, there is going to be a "Which would have been the biggest overpay" thread where we rate each of the supposedly requested packages in "Ben Simmons value units" to see which is the highest. The Toronto deal of OG, FVV, #4, and Lowry is a strong candidate at 3.2 BSVUs. Wiseman, Wiggins, #7, #14, 2022 GSW 1st, and 2026 GSW 1st is a sleeper though.
