The fact that no one seems interested in Hield other than the Lakers is the answer, why any combination of KCP and 22nd is a steep price

Sixers are interested too. I think OConnor said it's almost a guarantee he gets moved on draft night so there's obviously some interest. I don't think the Lakers are outbidding themselves with KCP/#22.....but Kuzma/#22 is way more ideal.

Edit: Well he did just tweet he's surprised Hield isn't getting more interest. But then another tweet that says he wouldn't be surprised if #22 wasn't even included :dontknow:

Makes me appreciate Curry and Klay more that even now when we're well into pace and space era only one dimensional specialists can touch them. Guys literally have to have only one skill and no impact to be that good at shooting.

Seems like the Hield trade is basically agreed to, but just depends on Harrell opting in. Way too much smoke around this.

Edit: wtf, Rob is the GOAT if he gets the #9 pick out of this

I can see a 3 way deal with the Knikcs recieving Trez and maybe swapping on of 19/21 for 22

9th pick...IDK, it's the Kings. Anything can happen

"Get out of KCP's contract" doesn't really make sense if you're trading for Hield. He's on a good deal

Kuzma/pope, Trez and our 1st...

Kinda steep

We better be getting back 39 at a minimum

I rather keep Pope over Kuzma

2 questions

1) You guys rather have Kuzma or Pope?

2) You guys good with getting Hield, bringing back Dennis and using the smaller mle for a wing? (Batum, Gay, OPJ? Etc?)

Dennis, Hield, Bron, AD, Gasol
AC, Pope, THT, Mle Wing, Rim running vet C (Dwight/McGee, etc?)

Wes for the min?

Maybe trade Dennis in the season if we can?

How’s that steep? Pope, trez and kuzma were all average at best last season. I’d say that’s a steal.

And he’s pope is a lot better than kuz.

It’s still 2 rotation guys and a 1st

Hield is not a great defender either

Trading kcp would be dumb, we need to add more shooters, not replace 1

Hope we can sign Batum with the mle

Not sure what pg we can get to replace Dennis

Dennis, THT?, 2nds for ??

Losing 3 rotation guys is tough even if the value is ok.

But also buddy is apparently a lot worse player than his number suggest.

Hield’s a no brainer imo. I don’t care how bad his defense is honestly. 40% on 10 threes a game makes him a game changer for this Lakers team. I’d prefer him over Derozan

Well, everyone has fleeced the Kings, why not us, for once?

How are they working on a Russell trade already? It's gotta involve Dennis and those discussions can't officially happen until FA starts. Watch this be nulled by the NBA like the Bucks/King/Bogi trade

Ugh, it's awkward enough for me to be a LeBron fan when he's on the Lakers. Now Westbrook too? SMH.
