Is this a needs for each team lining up perfectly for a trade?

Knicks:
We have a ton of cap space
We really want to move up in the draft to around the 11-13 area (probably for Duarte and maybe Murphy)
Knicks need a legit point gaurd bad and more 3 ball shooting
Knicks may prefer Turner to Mitch

Indiana:
Indiana would be OK with moving down. Might feel value is similar
Indiana desires to salary dump but want to keep Sabonis which leaves Brogdon (21M next 2 years) and Turner (18M next two years)

This is the trade I want. Brogdon the President leading these Knicks is what I been asking for since before the bucks traded him away. I love Mitch but having a line up of brogdon, RJ, randle and Myles is just too good to pass up. And a chance at a 3 pt shooting wing or D Mitchell at 13 would be awesome.

Obi playing well was the primary glimmer of these playoffs. Was he not ready until then(?) or simply underutilized, because it was clear as day Randle had nothing left. And he did play scared, but definitely part of that was burnout.

You do realize if we had filled that hole with Paul we would have beaten the Hawks. At the end of the day you can't wait for everything to fall into place. He upgrades Randle and RJ and IQ instantly, thus he is greater than his individual production. For 2 years that's enough. You can't really project beyond then anyway

We do not beat the hawks that is false narrative. We overachieved with one year vets and took advantage of the regular season. I don’t believe that same team will finish top 6 Hawks, phili, bucks, nets , bulls and maybe Boston is better. The hawks didn’t just bears us they destroyed us and exposed us for what we really are. Which is over achieving defensive team. We need to built gradually and don’t rush it. Hell no to Chris Paul, Lowry or Derozan

The Lakers and Wizards are discussing a trade that would send Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for Westbrook, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The Lakers' No. 22 pick in the Draft could be in play, too.
