Isn't Dinwiddie a free agent? How much is he getting in this sign and trade?

I figured 15-18 million.

I thought the same thing and he’s 6’5”, we get rid of our small backcourt.

Supposedly he wants a contract at $20 to $25 mil a year....... Having watched a bunch of Nets' games, I don't think he's worth that, but I think somebody will give it to him......

And go back to a backcourt with a guy who can't shoot. Sure he can score better than Rubio but the jazz were the best team in the league this past year because of shooting. Dinwiddie is not that.

I’m pretty sure he’s mid 30% 3PT.
Ingles is cooked.

He's been at .376 once in his career the next highest .335 for those keeping track.. jazz had 11 players on the roster this year that shot better than .335 from 3.. eleven!

Zero interest in going after a guy coming off a major knee injury. If we want to go after a bigger pg then Delon Wright makes the most sense and he is a much better defender than Dinwiddie.

I’m sure he’ll get resigned but Alex Caruso is some I think would fit in with this Jazz team.

I don't know that he does get resigned. I can easily see a team throwing their non tax MLE at him and he's not a RFA. So it's not like LA could match. He could stay at the 5.9 MLE if they offered it but I think he'll get a decent offer from someone else. So that being said. I don't think he's a jazz option unless Conley leaves and Utah offers him the 5.9 MLE but guarantees him a starter. Even then I think he's getting more and might even get to start anyway. Love his game though

I'm somewhat surprised we haven't heard of Bogey for a mid pick like 14 from Warriors or 17 from the Pels? Maybe more in the trade

The only thing I've seen is something about the Knicks with Knox + 19th + 32nd for Bogey. Knox has been a bust up to this point, getting less PT in each of his 3 seasons (11 min, 4ppg last year), so it's a downgrade in talent for the Jazz and doesn't address their real need for an athletic true rotation player who can defend and is at least a respectable 3 point shooter. I've had my fair share of "wtf Bogey" moments, but he's still a potential 20ppg scorer & high end deep threat. This would seem like a give-away, unless they can use #19 to get an immediate contributor, (which isn't a good bet) or package the picks for something else.

I would love that offer. Knox has definitely struggled but I still love his potential. At 19 there is a chance we luck into Trey Murphy but if not we should be guaranteed to have one of Jared Butler, Garuba, Cam Thomas, Keon Johnson or Tre Mann. At 30 and 32 I'm targeting any of those guys falling or Greg Brown and Weiskamp.

Plus, the Jazz doesn't have any other choice but to give enough reps to Knox, which I think is a good thing considering how shallow the roster would be. This year might be a step back for the organization if that happens but surely securing the future with it. There are still serviceable players in there:

Oni
Brantley
Hughes
Then Knox

All are athletic replacements that won't demand the ball and be complementary blue collars around the offense provided by Mitchell and Clarkson. Tbh I feel Bogey most of the time is being wasted just waiting for the ball, imagine him being replaced by high motor young players actively going after missed shots

Bogey provides spacing, which makes the Jazz offense work...... Take that away, and well, we know how that goes......

I'm definitely good with Ingles for Kuzma and 22.

I wonder if the Knicks would have any interest in Clarkson for Knox and 21.

To pull off a deal with 76ers it sounds like we'd need to trade Rudy and Mitchell and 5 first round picks. :banghead: 76ers are asking a LOT and no takers. Other teams are laughing at offers coming in.

Got notified by Yahoo that there was a Jazz trade but it didn't have any details. What happened?
